I think Jimmy is in his final year. Same for Carr. Marshall gives us a physical corner in the same mold as Jimmy that has good tape against good competition. With him we can possibly let Jimmy and Carr walk.

Powers would be better in a zone scheme but since anyone is an upgrade over James fucking Hurst I'll take it and won't complain. He's nothing special but he's solid. Just felt there were better Gs on the board.

Iman Marshall is your classic press corner with traits we LOVE in our DBs.

I get it. Jimmy and Carr probably gone after next year, but damn? Even without letting any go, we still added 2, I think. Actually, Canady might be a FA after next season.

Just focus... We have all our picks back, probably 2 good comp picks and SO MUCH CAP.
 
Damn Marshall is a surprise but a damn good one. Athletic, physical, tall. He's going to get the Marlon Humphrey treatment and turn into a steal a year from now.

This. I know we have Averett but that to me was a BPA pick for us.

Keep the secondary built.

Imo yes. Ive known of Marshall since his freshman year (5 star recruit). People are more freaking out because we already have a loaded secondary.

Honestly any OL from Oklahoma is good gamble with their o line coach. Powers was also a state runner up as a wrestler and that usually translates, hes not a mauler but a technician. Which is probably why everyone had a meltdown
 
I don't mind the pick but wonder how both he and Averett can play, but I will never complain about too many corners (especially after 2014)
 
OK I'm already OK with the Marshall pick again. Honestly, it let's us have a young as fuck secondary in 2 years of Humph, Averett, Marshall, Tavon, etc. DeCosta is in this for the long haul. We could be dangerous in 2 years.

yep and to be quite honest, we have to take a DB every year, especially since next year Jimmy and Carr are likely gone

Jimmy is likely gone due to him being a FA and our CB depth. Carr I think has an option? His future probably depends more on how he does this year.

I just think about Foxworth & Frank Walker days when I think we wasted money or picks on CB.
