2025 UDFA Thread

That production tells a different story, it's borderline elite. I'm really interested to see how he's going to go in camp.

a lot of that production came from being allowed to run free behind yahya black who's a massive nose tackle

he keys and diagnoses really well, which is going to have to become his super power if he's going to translate

because he's got no juice and lack of pursuit speed shows up

Production isn't always an indicator of success at the next level though. The athletic limitations are very apparent. He survived almost solely on instincts and will, which absolutely gives him a shot. It helps that he's at a position that doesn't have much depth.

Just doing some quick research scouting... Sone Ntoh looks like a wild one. 25 rushing TDs last year on only 109 carries. Seems like his job largely was to be a goal line back. Has never been a RB1 in his college career and he played at Harvard and Monmouth. Wild that a small school college backup can get an NFL gig.

thomas perry still the guy i'm most interested in i think

DIII is tough to know how he's gonna translate but didn't look outmatched at the shrine bowl even despite clearly starting at a clear disadvantage

feet, power, hands, grip strength, finish, good eyes and recovery quickness

he's got tools to be successful and seems to have that growth mindset that the ravens covet

Feels weird that he’s been so talked up by one of the prominent OL coaches/developers as well as the media, and all he could muster was a tryout though.

Chandler Martin is the guy I'm intrigued about. He has really good burst and closing speed, which made him really good at shooting gaps. He had 34 pressures and 8 sacks on 122 pass rushing snaps in 2024.

He's a hard hitter and he got better this year in coverage as the year went on. He does lack ideal length and that could be an issue for him and why he went undrafted. He also struggled to consistently wrap up (15.2% career missed tackle rate).

Hey family, I'm very pleased to say that we drafted very well. Our UDFAS are also looking up with Higgins as a solid ST guy. Hope everyone is doing well

for sure

but he's undersized, played DIII and didn't get to the senior bowl or the combine - he missed out on a ton of opportunities for face time with teams

would not be surprised if this is the ravens only contact with perry outside of the shrine bowl
dude's had very little exposure

maybe we never hear from him again

also wouldn't be surprised if he came out of minicamp and was signed to the 90 man roster after the tryout

Uh

Just saw a highlights video. It's fucking comical, a waste of time.

It's easy to get excited over tryout guys, but only 3 have gone from tryout to the 53 man roster - Justin Tucker, Jaylen Hill, and Janarion Grant
