2026 NFL Draft General Discussion

I want one of the edges. Reese, Bain or Bailey

i dont want reese in that group of guys
too much of a project at EDGE - maybe a better LB than EDGE, but not even the best LB on his own team

physical and athletic traits are awesome but he's more of a QB spy delayed rusher or blitzing guy rather than a true threat as an edge
more physically gifted than jalon walker but i think walker had more far more skill at this stage as a pass rusher

I would be good with any of these 3. I feel like we should have a shot at ONE of them. Bain makes sense hoping his arms come in short.

i think bailey and bain might both be going top 10
i dont see either making it past the 12th pick if they get that low

That is the question: where does Bain go? It only takes one team and he has the talent, the question are the measurables. If a team is turned off by his arm length, how real his arm length is, etc.

Reese is my least favorite of the 3 no doubt about it. I could see a team take him hoping he is Parsons 2.0.

arm length only matters if it shows up in the film
bain's tape is so awesome that i'm not concerned about his t-rex arms lol

and if teams are dumb enough to pass on him because he's got short arms, then i will happily have him as a raven

I understand with Reese. He is definitely number 3 in that group for me but he’s also a player I can see us making good use of. He would definitely fit into that positionless defense that has been around. While you’re right that he still needs work, I can see him potentially playing SAM.

TBH, I see him going to either Washington or Dallas, as Dan Quinn or Jerry will see him as the next Parsons.

We all thought Kyle Hamilton was going top ten too last time we were here. Although, the positions hint of that not working out in our favor again.

Bain and Bailey are my dream picks, with a DC who lets Green, Beeks and Jones hunt.

idk what money oregon's throwing around but this NIL money they've got has massively thinned the draft
and especially with Dante Moore going back to school - potential top 10 pick

also feels like a strange decision by Moore tbh - was basically guaranteed to go 2nd overall and with that comes 44m contract with around 20m signing bonus... from what i can tell, college QBs are getting 5-6m at the top end for just 1 year - and no guarantee he's a top 10 pick next year if the QB outlooks is different

Looks like Dante Moore is returning to Oregon. That's one less QB to go before our pick. Besides Mendoza, just gotta hope teams fall in love with Ty Simpson or Nussmeier.

i hope so
more likely to push a player i'd want down to us

dont see it happening with nussmeier
hoping that teams will index into the earlier part of the season with simpson more when he was making NFL-level-looking throws

but in all honesty, think this is pretty clearly now a 1 QB draft and that QB is going 1st overall

think it might create a Malik Willis bidding war in free agency

Knowing he's going second overall to the Jets, he's definitely avoiding the Jets.

hamilton dropped because of his position
Bain and Bailey won't be falling because of their position

they could fall to 14 but you'd need one of them to get past Dallas at 12, you'd probably need Faulk and Reese to go ahead of them, 3 WRs, Jeremiyah Love, some OL etc.

I’d be willing to trade up to get Bain. Surrender a future pick if we need to do it

Malik Willis and Kyler Murray. Someone will probably over pay Kirk cousins too. But I hate that this almost guarantees one less Qb going in front of us.

i wouldnt want to give up a lot
and i think the cost when you're that high up in the order is pretty prohibitive...

vikings gave up a 4th and a 5th for a 6th to move up from 11 to 10
eagles gave up a future 4th to move up 1 spot from 10 to 9
eagles gave up a 4th and 2 5ths to move up from 15 to 13
saints gave up a 3rd and a 4th to move up from 16 to 11

i'd be ok giving up a 4th but not sure i'd want to give up a 3rd rounder and based on the charts that would only get the ravens up from 14 to 10

need to hope that jeremiyah love, kenyon sadiq catch some teams eyes and that some OL get reached on higher than they should go in a thin class to get these guys to drop
