2026 NFL Draft General Discussion

I agreeeee for sure.. I just dont know if malaki would be worth it at 14 though. I know he destroys zone cvg but havent seen him separate as much in man cvg. maybe its cause i havent seen much or at 14 im expecting a potential all pro talent. He does look like a guy who we will use exactly like how he was used at usc though but with tate, we dont consistently attack vertically enough so yea his intermediate game will be important

Makai definitely separates vs man

Think he’s the most consistent separator regardless of man/zone

its still early but its hard to predict whose gonna be available at our pick… i need someone to hype up like right now lol

long as its not oline lol. I have no idea what im looking at when im looking at oline lol. If he getting beat, he ass. If no one getting around him, he the best lol

Non OL guys to gas up at 14 (most of whom probably won’t be available but we can hope)

Jermod McCoy, CB
Caleb Downs, DB
Sonny Styles, LB
Reuben Bain, EDGE
David Bailey, EDGE
Jordan Tyson, WR
Makai Lemon, WR
Darnell Tate, WR

Any of those guys making it to 14 would be an awesome outcome

We arent blessed enough for bain and bailey to fall to us lol. No way downs fall neither lol. I can see kc taking anyone of the wrs or even edges just like us.. not familiar with mccoy and styles so im gonna check them out.. lemon looks like the rashee rice type player but a lil stronger. If kc tired of rice off the issues they could grab him but is he worth the #9 pick? I think thats too early for him but then again i guess it all depends what you expect from him

Only reason these guys would fall:
Bain - short arms
Bailey - stiff ankles, run game production
Downs - safety (positional value)
McCoy - injuries (missed 2025)
Styles - LB (positional value)
Tyson - injuries
Lemon - size
Tate - only ever been a number 2 in his offence

Other highly thought of prospects you might want to look at:
Arvell Reese - I have him the next tier below those guys above, also mocks seem to suggest he’ll be long gone anyway
Keldric Faulk - Young, athletic, pass rush is mostly a projection vs some of the other guys
Akheem Mesidor - 25 years old with an injury history
Mansoor Delane - does he have the long speed?
Kenyon Sadiq - I think he’s way overhyped
Jeremiyah Smith - could be a special RB talent, I think he’s great but I don’t think he’s special but I’ve notably been wrong before e.g. jahmyr gibbs
Peter Woods - great athlete and prospect but pass rush production is not what you want from an elite 3t prospect

There’s some OL to look at too

@JAAM , Bain would be the biggest #SIIE I've ever done but I can't be that delusional lol. I'd be cool with Lemon tho.

I’m a sucker for a 3-down RB. Gimme someone who you won’t take off the field.. so I can draft him in my Dynasty league.

However, Jeremiyah Love ain’t no Bijan or Gibbs. 14 is too high :(

some guys he's higher on than i've seen around so far:

Lee Hunter, NT
Olaivavega Ioane, OG
Colton Hood, CB
Blake Miller, RT
Deion Burks, WR
Malachi Fields, WR
Antonio Williams, WR
Cashius Howell, EDGE
Max Iheanachor, OT

some guys he's lower on than the consensus has been saying so far:

Peter Woods, DT

some guys who surprisingly didn't feature:

Emmanuel Pregnon, OG
Omar Cooper Jr, WR
Zion Young, EDGE

Other guys in my current top 50 based on preliminary grades that didn't feature in his first top 50:
Keionte Scott, CB
Keith Abney II, CB
Chris Johnson, CB
Jude Bowry, OT
Germie Bernard, WR

I'm still way early so I haven't looked at 90% of these guys, but Keith Abney is a dog.

Depending on what we do in free agency I’d love Downs at 14

Mauigoa ? He's awesome. Easy eval he's super clean

Some average-to-slow-feet - not explosive or rangy in pass sets

I wouldn’t call him a clean eval because I’m not sure if he sticks at tackle and idk how many elite traits he’s got:
Non-ideal range or length at tackle, not consistent moving defenders off the ball as a drive blocker

Think he’s a good prospect - very solid

But don’t think he’s a slam-dunk elite talent at the top of the class

Agree on Kenyon Sadiq, good player dont see something special.

I've gone from being set on trenches to actually watching those guys and not loving what I'm seeing in terms of the guys who are going to be there at 14. Ioane and Woods don't move me at all.

I would love Sonny Styles or Jermod Mccoy if one of those could make it to 14 it would be great. Then just spam pass rushers and Oline for the rest of the draft lol.

For me, based on my preliminary grades - trenches at 14 is Bain, Bailey or Fano

If none of those 3, the trench option isn’t going to be worth that pick in this class

This is obviously pending rewatches on some guys
