Final thought for the night...
I will never understand our aversion to running the ball when we get down. It was effective. Henry was ripping 5 yards a clip and had a lot more positive than negative in his limited run. But for some reason when we go down against a high powered offense, we think the only way to keep up is to throw throw throw. Jam it down their throats and control the TOP. That's the best way to keep them from continuing to put up points - don't let them get the ball.
Especially against Kansas City. We script the offensive plan as if we're always spotting them 10 points. I think the total was 4 carries for 31 yards for Derrick Henry, and then essentially not used thereafter. It was telling when John Harbaugh was given that stat at the half-time interview and was asked about involving Henry, he was noncommittal.
