Week 4 Discussion (Other Teams)

Hall of Famer
Eagles @ Packers: Thursday Night Football sees the troubled Eagles heading to Green Bay and historic Lambeau Field as the Aaron Rodgers and the new look Packers defense awaits Carson Wentz and company. The Eagles have lost two straight games and faces a Packers defense who leads the leagues in takeaways and turnover differential. Carson may have Alshon Jeffery back but again will be without DeSean Jackson, Eagles offense hasn't been the same when Carson lost his best options. Aaron Rodgers hopes to help the offense do their part facing an Eagles defense giving up 26 PPG.

Titans @ Falcons: Atlanta comes home after losing to the Colts and losing Kneau Neal for the second straight season for the entire year. Both teams sit at 1-2 and need a win to get back on the right track and in a weak NFC South, Falcons have a shot until they don't. How will the Falcons defense contain Derrick Henry? Can the Titans offensive line protect Marcus Mariota, who has been sacked a NFL high 17 times through three games? So much on the line for both teams who play in wide open divisions and a win could be the thing that turns things around.

Patriots @ Bills: You know when your driving and you have an open road ahead of you, only to run into a road block? That's how I describe this game. The Bills are 3-0 for the first time since 2011, and look to start 4-0 for the first time since 2008! The Pats have owned the AFC East for too long and if this 3-0 start is legit, we may finally see another team rise up and challenge the mighty Pats for the Division Title. Or the Pats will just run all over them and continue to rule the AFC East.

Chiefs @ Lions: The Lions have won two straight games heading into a game against Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs. The Lions look to give KC their first loss this season but right now, can anyone stop Patrick Mahomes?

Raiders @ Colts: The Raiders offense has been good but not great, they should get a boost from a Colts secondary who just lost Safety Malik Hooker for over a month. Indy has surprised so far going 2-1 with Jacoby Brisset as starter and look to improve to 3-1 and take control of a wide open AFC South Division.

Chargers @ Dolphins: If your in a Survivor Pool.... RUN! Run as far away from the Chargers this week and pick the Packers, Rams, or even the Giants. The Chargers have lost the last two meetings with the Dolphins in 2017 & 2016, and the Chargers continue to lose when you least expect it. Remember the Christmas Miracle the Chargers gave Cleveland for a present in 2016? That is your fantasy advice of the week...... back to your weekly game previews.

Redskins @ Giants: It was one game, but if Daniel Jones leads the Giants to the playoffs then Dave Gettleman is going to get the last laugh. The Giants had an offense for the first time in what seemed like since the Giants last beat the Patriots in the Super Bowl, 2011. We now get to settle the debate, Daniel Jones vs Dwayne Has... nope. Jay Gruden is insisting on keeping Case Keenum as the starter and that will eventually cost him his job. I expect Danny boy to step in and fire him mid season if he refuses to start Haskins.

Panthers @ Texans: Cam Newton will be out for a while and Kyle Allen will get a chance to have another impressive performance against the Texans this week. Allen threw 4 TDs against the Cardinals last week and looked as if there is some hope in Carolina without Cam Newton. Houston is coming home after a win over the Chargers and look to hold off Jacoby Brisset and the Colts for the AFC South crown.

Bucs @ Rams: Bruce Arians has worked wonders with Jameis Winston as he has vastly improved but still is handing out turnovers. Now Winston has to step up in a huge way on the road against Aaron Donald and the Rams defense. Jared Goff should be more comfortable at home this week and lead the Rams to a 4-0 start.

Seahawks @ Cardinals: The Seahawks got beat by a Drew Brees-less Saints team thanks to special teams and defense stepping up. This week, the Seahawks get their first look at first overall pick Kyler Murray who continues to do well each week. Larry Fitzgerald has found the fountain of youth and keeps performing by the week catching 2 touchdowns in three games this season. Can Russell Wilson and company rebound as they now find themselves trailing behind the Rams and 49ers.

Vikings @ Bears: Kirk Cousins returns to Solider Field where he threw two interceptions last November and looks for redemption against a Bears team trying to find it's foot offensively. The Bears offense has been great this season but we still can't figure out Mitchell Trubisky. Most expected him to step up this season but it's been a struggle so far. Can the Vikings get a huge road win in Chicago or will Kirk Cousins choke once again?

Jaguars @ Broncos: Young quarterbacks have been the story of the 2019 season so far. Patrick Mahomes, Lamar Jackson, Baker Mayfield, Mason Rudolph and Daniel Jones. None of them compare to the rookie Gardner Minshew who has performed much better than expected, not bad for a QB taken in the 6th round. It seems as if the team has rallied around him and the Jags are playing much better. This week, they head to Denver to take on the 0-3 Broncos and whether this game will be Jalen Ramsey's last game with the team remains to be seen. Khan wants to keep and pay Ramsey but would an offer out of this world make them change their mind?

Cowboys @ Saints: Sunday Night Football heads to the Big Easy for a NFC showdown between the Saints and Cowboys. The Saints were able to go into Seattle without Drew Brees and knock off the Seahawks after special teams and defensive help, and now have to hold off the 3-0 Cowboys led by Dak Prescott who is having a great season so far. If New Orleans can win games without Drew Brees, they will be set up nicely late in the year when Brees returns for a playoff push.

Bengals @ Steelers: A combined 0-6 heading into this game, both the Bengals and Steelers have been close to wins but haven't been able to finish in the end. Minkah Fitzpatrick is already paying dividends for the Steelers and the defense as a whole came away with four turnovers against the 49ers. Bengals have been competitive through three games and look to win their first game of the season on the road in Pittsburgh.

Packers defense does it what it does best. Eagles punt on their first drive. I'm glad we didn't pay ZDS all that money GB did but congrats on the whole situation working out for him, maybe we'll see him in the Super Bowl.

What other teams would you all think are interested in AB? His agent claims a few teams are very interested.

All I’m saying is it better not be us lol

Derek Barnett with a stupid penalty and really, really, REALLY LATE hit on RB Jamaal Williams who is now leaving the game on a stretcher.

I'm glad to see there is another secondary as leaky as our defense is. Packers about to score quick here.

This Packers defense is the type of defense that would give Tom Brady and Belichick fits in the Super Bowl. If the Packers offense can put up points like we expect from Rodgers, they very well might be the most complete team in the NFL.

A weak penalty erases the Eagles TD. This is ridiculous.

Edit: Refs correct the call and give the Eagles the TD back.
