Next Up: @ Browns

Don't they normally go with a 4 man rotation? Ojabo looks well on his way to inactive, not sure you want that many snaps for KVN (old/not playing that great) or Green (keep him fresh). Seems like there are about 25 snaps to be had there for Lawson or Robinson.
I'm not saying I agree with it for what it's worth, but it seems to be how they're operating. They literally went a couple of games with only 3 OLBs active at all. Doesn't seem they care much for whoever the 4th guy is as the roster is currently constructed at least.

I'm not sure that won't change though. If they think Lawson is a decent enough upgrade on Ojabo, I think they'll activate four and play some of the others less. Van Noy on like a 70% snap share ain't going to work by the end of the season.

Again, I don't disagree, but it you felt like Lawson was going to give you something, it feels like it would have made sense to activate him Sunday with how much of a non-factor Ojabo is. I'm not saying it won't happen and I also wouldn't be shocked if it does, but I'm also not so sure they have big plans for Lawson after the Jones acquisition.

Different positions, but I think they just decided to use the last elevation for Bryan. Not sure he'll get activated or just let go. I think they'll call up Lawson, deactivate Ojabo, and then activate Peebles up to replace Bryan. Just my guess. Some of that could be gameplan specific.

Higgins is probably headed to IR so it’s easy to get Bryan a roster spot

Sounds like Marlon (already confirmed) and Bateman are leaning toward being out. Probably don't need a move at WR since you can just activate Tez, but you could need one of the PS CBs. We've gone with 4 before but a Wiggins, Awuzie, Tampa, and Martin foursome seems light.

With Higgins likely headed to IR, it could mean that they use a 2nd elevation on the best STer from the PS. That's seemingly Sanoussi Kane but they could also go Chandler Martin if they want someone a little beefier as a more direct replacement.

This is actually the perfect spot in the season to get Tez and Tampa more playing time, so that's not the worry here. Do they bring Lawson up? Feels like they didn't last week to avoid breaking in 2 new guys at same time in rotation.
Man hell no it ain’t, browns defense always gives us serious fits and we’re down guys in a division game, and we’re still a game out of first in the division. We can’t mess around with this game.

That said, Tampa is gonna get a big bump in playing time and tez is at least gonna be activated. I’d much rather see the run game, the TEs and Hopkins fill in for the loss of Bateman.

Tez had some catches his last game against the Browns

Something to watch for

What we are doing is malpractice to peebles. So damn stupid. Snaps are so valuable for young rookies, he should completely be a situational pass rusher even if it's depth.

How do you get better at stopping the run... playing against the run. Is our plan to change out slim pass rushing stud project into a 340 point nose tackle and sap any ability to rush the passer so he can serve as a completely different player? So annoyed

I think it's really valuable we get Tex and Hopkins heavily involved in a game to prepare for any potential injuries like Zay last year. I want Lamar on schedule with both just in case we have to go an important game without the prime options.

Looking forward to seeing some of the udfas at corner. I know we're all scared cuz it's the browns, but this is Gabriel not Jameis from last year. He actually sucks.

they might change their opinion if they're using dre'mont inside more
