Week 7 Discussion (Other Teams)

Hall of Famer
Since the whole three hour time difference thing in Seattle, looks like we'll start our Sunday in this thread until 4:25pm. What fun awaits Week 7? Steelers & Browns on a BYE this week so Cincy is the only other Divisional rival playing this week.

Chiefs @ Broncos: The Broncos welcome a limping Kansas City Chiefs team who have lost two straight games, and will be without several starters for Thursday Night Football. Similar to Cam Newton, Mahomes is dealing with an ankle injury that he suffered in week one against the Jags and later tweaked in the loss to the Colts limiting his mobility. On top of Mahome's limited mobility, they will be without WR Sammy Watkins, CB Kendall Fuller, LT Eric Fisher and OG Andrew Wylie, and DL Chris Jones. Denver should look to what Indy and Houston did and gameplan around Phillip Lindsay and the leaky run defense of the Chiefs. Will Denver add on to the Chiefs losing streak or will KC recover any momentum before Aaron Rodgers and the Packers come to town next Sunday Night?

Rams @ Falcons: The Rams will travel out east to Atlanta with their new shiny toy in Jalen Ramsey in hopes of getting their season back on track against the dreadful Atlanta Falcons. Nothing cures a three game losing streak like beating up on a bad team, and the Rams may have found a band aid for at least one week. The clock is ticking for Dan Quinn and whether it's the end of the year, next week, or this Monday, it seems his tenure as Head Coach is done for barring some magical turnaround.

Dolphins @ Bills: The Bills coming off their BYE, get another BYE as the tanking Dolphins come to town for an AFC East showdown. The Dolphins had a chance to get their first win, could have took their chance in OT but went for two and kept the Tank alive. Barring anything Cowboy like, Bills should win here and improve to 5-1 on the year.

Jaguars @ Bengals: Good news for the Bengals, they don't have to worry about Jalen Ramsey but the bad news is they are 0-6 on the year. Zac Taylor has not had a good start to his head coaching career, Andy Dalton is terrible, AJ Green wants out and it seems the tank is also on in Cincinnati. Jaguars look to snap a two game losing streak on Sunday.

Vikings @ Lions: Putting aside the officiating, it seems the Lions are starting to believe in the Patriot way. Matt Patricia has the Lions going in the right direction which should give Detroit fans hope going forward. Just hope nobody on the Lions runs their mouth about Kirk Cousins or they will be given the Zach Brown treatment. Kirk Cousins looks to build on last week's great performance against the Eagles and finally give the Vikings their money's worth, all $90M of it.

Raiders @ Packers: The year was 2007, and Brett Favre wanted Randy Moss so bad that the Packers considered trading away Aaron Rodgers to the Oakland Raiders. On one hand, the Raiders would have avoided the disaster that was Jamarcus Russell, Tom Brady may not have six rings, and the Packers.... well it's scary to think about if they didn't have Rodgers. The Raiders find themselves in the mix of the AFC wildcard hunt at 3-2 as Gruden and company head to Green Bay looking for a huge road win. The Packers seem to have the right mix of everything at 5-1 and as of now, the only thing left to decide in the NFC is whether the Championship Game is played in the frozen tundra of Green Bay or Sunny San Francisco.

49ers @ Redskins: The Capitals have their first Stanley Cup, the WNBA's Washington Mystics won a Championship and the Nationals are on their way to the World Series as soon as mother nature decides when the Yankees & Astros can play ball. All is well in our nation's capital, except the Redskins. This organization won't go anywhere until someone else not named Dan Snyder runs the team. Unfortunately, they welcome in a 5-0 49ers team who should win this easily. Easy Survivor Pick of the week, is a Jimmy G & Tom Brady Super Bowl on the horizon come Feb?

Cardinals @ Giants: The Redskins didn't give us Dwayne Haskins vs Daniel Jones but this week we get Kyler Murray vs Daniel Jones instead. The Cardinals have won back to back games over the Bengals and Falcons and look for their third straight win in the Meadowlands. Both Murray & Jones have proven why they were taken where they were in the draft and both teams have bright futures if they develop over time, which rookie will prevail on Sunday?

Chargers @ Titans: Both teams sit at 2-4 and are fighting for their last bit of survival as we are almost at the halfway point of the 2019 season. Chargers continue to be inconsistent, Tennessee seems to be jumping into the QB Race next April and someone has to win this game. LA will be without their two starting Defensive Tackles which should give a boost to the Titans run game to help Ryan Tannehill taking over from Marcus Mariota.

Saints @ Bears: The Saints keep marching toward January despite Drew Brees' absence as Teddy Bridgewater is now looking to go 5-0 as a starter since taking over for Drew Brees. Standing in the way is a wall known as Khalil Mack and the Chicago Bears defense. It's helped that the Saints have had Alvin Kamara and Jared Cook on offense but Bridgewater will be without those players on Sunday. Can the Bears offense receive a boost from the returning Mitchell Trubisky and put a stop to the Saints' winning ways?

Eagles @ Cowboys: Obligatory Sunday Night NFC East game on NBC week. Seems as if the NFC East is just as bad as the AFC North, who wants to win it more? Dallas or Philly? Dallas certainly doesn't want to after their loss to the Jets, and the Eagles can't stop the bleeding on defense. At 3-3, both teams look for some edge in this weak division, and both teams need the win at the moment.

Patriots @ Jets: The New York Jets fresh off a huge upset over the Cowboys thanks to Sam Darnold's great game look for another upset against the Kings of the AFC East, the New England Patriots. The Pats offense will be dinged up as Josh Gordon, Tight Ends Ryan Izzo and Matt LaCosse have all been ruled out. Both Julian Edleman and Phillip Dorsett are questionable leaving undrafted rookie Jakobi Meyers the only healthy WR for Monday. Can Sam Darnold take a crack at the Pats top rated pass defense or will the Jets just suffer the same fate they always suffer, a loss.

Um... hey Denver can you give Phillip Lindsey the ball at the one yard line next time. My fantasy team would appreciate it. Also 6 minute drive by the Broncos keeping Mahomes on the bench. Gee you think teams would have used this strategy against Tom Brady years ago.

Man that Chiefs D is baddddd

For every tram that has success running the ball against them, it reminds me of the facr that for some strange reason we went away from that, and if we didn't we would have won.

Brady has had a good defense most of his career.
