Coaching Carousel 2026

the problem is that lamar likes to throw into windows and space rather than jump ball throws and fades etc.
likes to keep the ball safe

it's why DHop ultimately didn't fit here because his best skillset at this point in his career wasnt a good match for how lamar likes to play
Lamar also throws ball pretty high and off target though too though. Youre spot on with dhop. I think a mike evans type would be great but a tee higgins type wouldnt work if that makes any sense? Well tee higgins could work, but he wont be getting those consistent passes like he does with borruw.

lamar's generally a very accurate QB except on deep corners/posts

fades and jump-ball throws are generally low-percentage throws and i just dont think lamar has much interest in throwing up 50/50s when he can create and find a better option in most cases

Did a little photoshop of our MVP and future head coach.

he seems pretty philosophically strict and rigid with how he structures his offence
doesnt seem to adapt to personnel

it's a good offence but seems to become unsustainable throughout a season consistently even beyond Tua

also very based on quick timing etc. not much playmaking built into it

maybe he could do that with a different QB but not a ton of evidence to suggest it

I respect your opinion but I think his offense has adapted slightly to his personnel. His offense definitely looks different now with Achane being the focal point vs when Tyreek was. I absolutely think he would be able to design a quick hitting offense that can then allow Lamar to make plays when needed.

I think they'd gel really well. Lamar seems to love fast players - judging by target shares - and McDaniel's offense is all about speed.

True. I know it’s an unlikely scenario but it might be one of my favorites tbh.
