Referring to your second point, I’m not sure what they’re grading? Their synergy with Lamar? Nagy being an A+ is crazy but honestly trying to grade that at all is simply just guessing. My guess is that he and McDaniel would vibe purely because Lamar seems to be silly/goofy but a workaholic and that’s the same vibe I get from McDaniel. I may be in the minority but that’s my pick at HC. As long as he brings along a tough minded DC.

Yes, I’m glad he owns it. No idea if Harbaugh didn’t say the same. He comes across as faking it to making it though to me. It doesn’t feel genuine what he said, and I don’t mean he seems disingenuous to taking ownership. I mean the fiery attitude seems fake and forced

I also look at the fact he never really lost the locker room in Miami. They made a mini-run mid-season and never once did the players quit on him. That says a lot about Mike and if he's about holding players accountable then that's a plus.

I personally don’t see it in a bad way. Feels more genuine and human instead of a lot of coaches just yelling to do better. He’s a great communicator if you listen to his words instead of his voice.

It really has felt like there has been a divide in Baltimore between coaches and players and that goes back to Roman. With Monken coming out pretty defensive after being let go, a guy who takes accountability for his mistakes and talking to players like this could be what this team needs.

I’m usually not a fan of hiring an unsuccessful coach immediately after they got let go, but this may be my exception. Obviously would rather him be an OC, but I wouldn’t hate him being the guy at HC either.
