Guess I was confused, because I thought Brady already did his. I guess that was just the "announcement" that he was getting one.

Makes more sense now why they didn't pull the trigger on Minter. They're actually going to play this out through next week seemingly.

it's not that much of a stretch to have to wait until Monday/Tuesday at this point

From seeing many comments, I believe I may be in the minority here, but I do think that with Monday just a few days away at this point, if you can get Kubiak or whoever else in here quickly, it makes sense to fully play out that process.

it's not that much of a stretch to have to wait until Monday/Tuesday at this point

I agree, but that's partially because I thought they already did three interviews this week.
Assuming there's at least two candidates you're interviewing playing this weekend, I still think it'll be like Tuesday/Wednesday before you get more interviews. Don't really see how you get coaches to come in for interviews on Monday when they just played a game less than 24 hours prior and have to fly cross-country to do it.
Kubiak specifically I don't see interviewing until at least Tuesday, and that's assuming he's the first one.

More so just the idea that if Minter is actually a top candidate, he'll be sitting for at least a week in total limbo.

but i think recently coordinators in championship games have done that - flown straight to an interview the next day after their game (especially if their team lost)

Not saying its impossible, just not expecting it. Weather would be a factor in this case, but even normally, that NFCG won't end until like 10pm ET. Imagining you're not flying out that night, but even in the morning, you're talking afternoon Monday at the earliest.

Now, IF Steve/Eric, etc. decided to fly to them, that's a whole different story.

I think he’s one of the top candidates but him not being hired yesterday seemingly indicates that they hold a couple of options next week at equal or higher levels
