I don't think Starks was even bad this year. Didn't make as many plays yeah, but he did really settle in around midseason. Feels like it's a virtual guarantee that he takes a step under Minter as opposed to Orr.

Don’t get me wrong I don’t think starks was bad at all, I was pretty pleased with his rookie year and feel great about him going forward regardless of the DC, even moreso with our new HC, BUT as it stands right now emmanwori has been better in every observable way, and the thing that stands out to me is starks has a bit of a nerd vibe to him and emmanwori is a dirty goddamn dog, and I’m sick of drafting a bunch of fkn nerds with our first round picks.

I grew up in the ravens defense era, and as fun as Lamar has been to watch, goddamn I miss having the dawgs

Tbh, it seems like starks isnt even needed. If he had some earl thomas or budda baker in him then yea but he really is more like a jessie bates.fuck it trade him on draft day lmao

That man at least knows how to tackle. It was always comforting watching him actually wrap a dude up.

Starks decent but i understand where you coming from.. we for sure need more dogs on our defense. Too many marlon humpreheys
 
Like Safety, Starks is much more than that. Emmanwory has more versatility thanks to his physique.

I don't think they're competition; they're more complementary.

Starks is comparable to Cobe Bryant, and Emmanwory to Hamilton, in terms of position.

That was terribly under thrown for the Patriots interception. The Patriots cakewalk schedule continues...... hopefully Seattle or LA smashes them in the Super Bowl proving they had it easy all year.

Orr was in way over his head. Will be interesting to see how this defense performs with Minter.
