Week 9 Discussion (Other Teams)

Hall of Famer
49ers @ Cardinals: Kyler Murray and the Arizona Cardinals play host to Jimmy G and the undefeated San Francisco 49ers as their quest to be 8-0 heats up in the Arizona sun. Nick Bosa currently has seven sacks, including three last week in the win against the Carolina Panthers. Bosa looks to add to his sack total against a Cardinals offensive line that has allowed Kyler Murray to be sacked 26 times. For Jimmy Garoppolo, he has to find a way to limit his mistakes that are being covered up by a great 49ers defense. On the year he has nine TDs compared to seven interceptions, eventually his mistakes will be too much for the defense to overcome and he could be the one holding back the team from achieving even greater success.

Texans @ Jaguars: Wake up Sunday Morning with some AFC South action live from London as the Jaguars and Texans face off in a key game that could end up meaning something in the playoff picture. At 5-3, Houston is looking to keep up with the Colts while the 4-4 Jaguars are looking to shake up the AFC playoff picture. Jaguars are 3-1 in London since 2015 while the Texans get to experience the taste of London for the first time which could benefit Jacksonville. Can the Gardner Minshew story gain another chapter as and keep the Jags in the playoff hunt?

Redskins @ Bills: The Washington Capitals, The Washington Mystics and now the Washington Nationals have all won Championships. Someone might want to tell Dan Snyder to catch up with his other local sports teams. Redskins aren't winning the Super Bowl anytime soon but Buffalo will get a good rebound game following their loss to the Eagles as they keep a strangle hold on the AFC's 5th seed.

Vikings @ Chiefs: The Chiefs once again will be without Patrick Mahomes as the Minnesota Vikings head to Arrowhead looking to keep their momentum going with their fifth straight win. After the Packers ran all over the Chiefs defense last week, Dalvin Cook who leads the league in rushing and touchdowns among all RBs seems poised for a big day against a Chiefs defense who just can't stop the run. Matt Moore impressed keeping the game close against a solid Packers defense but the Chiefs are losing ground in the AFC and an upset win without Mahomes keeps them in the running for a BYE.

Jets @ Dolphins: The Tank Bowl returns to Miami as the Dolphins welcome the New York Jets to town. Both teams are in bad shape, the Dolphins looked like they wanted to win but remembered they were losing games for the first overall pick. The Jets look just as bad, without the obvious tanking and it seems the entire organization is just being misrun at the moment. Expect the Jets to win a low scoring game, and who knows maybe the Dolphins accidentally win because the Jets are just as bad.

Bears @ Eagles: The Eagles look to build momentum as they chase the Dallas Cowboys for the NFC East crown. Philly with a big win over the Bills last week welcome Mitchell Trubisky and the Chicago Bears to town. With the condition of the Eagles secondary, Trubisky may just look like he'll turn it around and have a good showing, if the Bears defense keeps it close then they will have a chance.

Colts @ Steelers: The Colts' Cinderella season following everyone counting them out following Andrew Luck's shocking retirement heads to Pittsburgh as they look to stay in the hunt for a BYE come Janaury. When the Dolphins were trying, Mason Rudolph struggled as did the Steelers defense. The Colts are a better team and for Pittsburgh to rebound and get back in the playoff hunt, need an upset win over a team looking to set themselves up for a potential playoff BYE.

Titans @ Panthers:

Lions @ Raiders:

Buccaneers @ Seahawks:

Browns @ Broncos:

Packers @ Chargers:

Cowboys @ Giants:

Was expecting a bit more of what we saw last week against the Panthers given the state of the Cardinals offensive line and their team all together.

I don't see how we couldn't beat the 49ers when they come to the Bank later this season.

That was a close game but Garropolo pulled it off. Well, it's beginning to set us up to be the undefeated teams' nemesis. Let's get that party started by beating the Patriots! Let's go Ravens. Sunday can't get here soon enough.

I just noticed that the Steelers are playing the Colts. I always root for the teams that play against these two teams. This sucks!

A question: why wasn't there a flag on the Duke Johnson TD? He initiated contact with his helmet.

Yeah even worse for us, as if the Colts win it helps us extend the division lead no matter what happens tonight. If the Steelers win, it keeps the BYE in play but keeps them in the playoff hunt.

Bears offensive playcalling is bad it's literally only screens or short routes because of Trubisky.
