i mean that's all i can think of - some sort of neck sprain
maybe a ligament issue caused by some sort of whiplash?

but while those things seem tough, neither seem risky or crazy enough to be career-ending

but maybe we're all just filling the silence with the worst outcome because no one's saying anything else

This is imparting my own theory…

But wonder if it compressed some vertebrae and led to some nerve issues?

That’s all I got, but the human body is weird.

I feel like the type of media we have works when there’s as much transparency as there was today. Other than the loonies, I thought the questions were pointed and were aimed at a vision rather than all of the intimate details of how we ended up here.

Will be curious if there’s as much mystery behind the new HC’s words as there was with Harbaugh’s and maybe that’s a big piece of this whole thing. I know a couple of media guys have said they backed off of Harbaugh because they knew pissing him off would just shut down even more info.

i do hope that whoever it ends up being is at least open to discussing schematics with the press after games
harbs was always so vague and consistently talked about having to go back to the tape to see what happened

Eric and everyone seems so vague on this story.

Is it because it's a competitive advantage or is it because they really don't know and can't violate HIPAA?

he talked about a decade as a timeline (loose obviously) but that means that his best chance to win is right now while they still have lamar who's only just turned 29 as well

he's not looking to mortgage the future, but he is happy to be aggressive and spend cash to manipulate the cap to get deals done etc.

It does make me wonder how Steve will transition the team to someone else. You would think he would do like Art did and bring them on as a partner, teach, and transition them

completely speculating but
i wonder then if what they're waiting for is to see if whatever it is recurs when he does impact physical activity again - even if it's eased, perhaps the information they're waiting on is to find out at what activity point the pain comes back

but it's also the kind of thing that frequently requires surgery

i guess we wont know the answer until we see how they start team-building (and maybe not even then)

I truly think they don’t really know right now. Could be having the curtain pulled over us all but necks are finicky and I don’t think they want to talk in any absolutes.

I would be shocked if they go in with the idea that they’re going to have him at this point. Would think they’ll accept that as a bonus if that’s how it works out.

I think it pretty much has to be something involving cervical vertebrae and discs/nerves. Anything muscular wouldn’t have kept him out this long.

I think the rivalry uniforms are on a rotational basis. I think ours is for 2028 IIRC. As for an alternate, they bringing back the disgusting ass mustard pants?!??!
