Because neither driver was charged with anything, no crime committed(no traffic citations issued, no DUI, no drugs, no guns, etc.), there are privacy rules that apply. Police were required to not publicly release info on the accident.

Right. But I don't recall a player situation that was reported when there wasn't a violation or crime involved.
well now looks like Shanahan was at fault
probably should have been cited for reckless/distracted driving but wasn't
and the reporting on Monday had the other party as at fault, bad enough that Shanahan corrected the record himself on Tuesday

Grain of salt but I've heard it still exists. May either be (a) not as difficult or (b) not a require trip to PUP if you don't complete it.
or is it (c) that it's not happening right at the start of camp?
Only reason I know it still exists is that I know one player passed in OTAs, which has always been an option as well.
