Week 11 Discussion (Other Teams Thread)

so the browns in this game:

knocked 3 steelers out of the game with concussion including 1 that they knocked out with blood pouring out of his ear
had 3 guys in total ejected from a game they were winning fairly comfortably
had a full on fight full of cheap shots to finish the game they were winning that had 8 seconds left
had a guy cause that fight properly by attacking someone with their own helmet (and another cheap shot the same player)
throughout it all the head coach had zero control
and multiple penalties
The ghosts of Gregg Williams past...

I'm going to be that guy. Mason wanted them problems... He got them.

Also, don't think it should be season long. Does he even have a history of this kind of stuff?

there's a difference between being a bit niggly and annoying and getting a hard object swung at your unprotected head

I would have to watch the JuJu hit again, but I can't say the Randall is "dirty." Plays like that happen too often. Some of these are on the qb as well.

remember this is all only a week after jermaine whitehead threatened to fight random fans off twitter among other things

maybe not intentionally dirty but was ugly and he lowered the helmet and his arms were nowhere near in a normal tackling position - it was a hit designed to be forceful and he made helmet to helmet contact with a lowered helmet - at that point it doesnt really matter if its intentional because every tiny decision he's making up to that point has put the receiver in more danger - and then the reaction afterwards wasnt great too

I'm bitter til the end. This is years of cheap shots coming back to the Steelers. That might be clouding my judgment.

Garrett is a friggin' dirty player man. He is the second coming of Burfict and Suh! Unbelievable the way he took down Mason Rudolph after the initial hit! That S.O.B needs to be suspended for the year for striking Mason Rudolphs head with a vicious blow with the helmet. He could've killed the dude!

Jeremy Fowler @JFowlerESPN

25m

Wildest thing I ever saw. Was 10 yards from it. Myles Garrett completely lost it, connected the helmet square on Mason Rudolph’s head. And the Browns were celebrating the whole thing from the sideline.

WTF?
WTF is right! He needs to be suspended for the year the MFer! I wanted to jump in and beat the shit out of that PoS! Come on man! You don't take a helmet off the QB and strike him with it smack on the head! I just put Lamar in that predicament and lost it!
