Week 11 Discussion (Other Teams Thread)

That was basically assault with intent. NFL will have to suspend Garrett and it won't be just two games. And you can't kick someone in the head. lol
lets hope the NFL does the right thing and suspends him for the season or longer with atleast a 50k fine if not 100k. Hell that fine should go to Mason Rudolph

Garrett was fined $10,527 for an unnecessary roughness penalty against the Titans after he struck Tennessee tight end Delanie Walker in the face following a play in Week 1.

He was fined $21,056 for each of his two roughing the passer penalties against the Jets in Week 2

Hes certainly been less than squeaky clean this season.

Roughing the passer is whatever. I can't see the hits either. Marlon got a fine for his dust up with Beckham. Would have to see the Walker incident. That doesn't make a player dirty to me.

Suspensions are in:
Garrett - indefinitely (guaranteed all of 2019 + playoffs)
Pouncey - 3 games
Ogunjobi - 1 game

Instead why don't we just let Pouncey sunch and kick this piece of human garbage while being held down by DeCastro for a full 60 minutes?

I would say the punishments for Pouncey is unfair. As for Garrett if this suspension doesn't extend into at least 8 games next season it's inadequate. I still believe he needs to be suspended for life.

garrett gone for a decent chunk of time makes sense - but the irony of this is that players with domestic violence charges are happily kept in the league and in tyreek hill's case didnt even get a league punishment

there's a hypocrisy here

my guess is pouncey will appeal and itll come down to 1 or 2 games

What is imo a shame is this entire incident took attention away from an extreme case of targeting that imo was more dangerous to player health than the melee and deserves beyond an in game suspension. Randall’s targeting hit was as egregious as I’ve seen in quite some time.

Well I mean obviously different situations, since one is on-field vs off-field. And one was in front of a nationally televised audience for the world to see.

Will certainly at least be fined for that hit.

All the difference when it happens on camera. Makes me think back to Ray Rice

Also think Tyreek Hill should have never been in the NFL after what he did to get kicked out of Oklahoma St

i dont see why that should matter in the grand scheme of things - i understand why it does - but it shouldnt

It really was! That was a vicious helmet to helmet hit on a defenseless receiver.

Well it should matter because for-profit businesses shouldn't act like criminal justice systems. They set rules, and if they feel an employee violates the rules, they should punish them within the confines of their rule system.

I am so glad that Browns v Steelers game is at 4:25 on 12/1 and our game against the 49ers is at 1:00 because I am not missing that Steelers rematch! It is must see TV!
