The Lamar, The Watson and The Doubters

Lamar is truly a dual threat QB, he can beat you in the air and on the ground with his legs.

As far as the defense... Houston may have improved it's offensive line since adding Tunsil but that line can only hold so much. Watson just holds on to the ball for way, way, WAY too long. Defense played well but some of those sacks were on Watson just not throwing the ball away and living to play another down. Judon needs to be paid ZDS money, end of story.

the texans looked ok dealing with the zone-read and option early - they blew up a few of those kinds of plays early especially - lamar looked at his best in empty sets and took apart that texans secondary
 
we'll be talked about as the best team in the nfl after today and probably be number 1 in most power rankings - and you know what... after that game im fine with us being favourites and front-runners - it normally makes me nervous but lamar and this group have given me no rational reason to feel nervous about anything right now - we havent even looked remotely close to losing since that steelers overtime game which we won anyway

The team right now couldn't seem more different then the team during that time of the year. If this current squad can stay healthy, they should have serious championship aspirations.

Lamar changed this team when he got Yanda and Harbaugh to go for it on that fourth down attempt weeks ago. I honestly think that was a huge turning point for us. He and the team have played different ever since.

Yeah, these dudes are a different bunch.
 
I don’t even sweat those two losses early in the season because this is a completely different team, especially on defense.
