The Lamar, The Watson and The Doubters

not really sure what to say here - we just steam-rolled one of the best teams in the conference after our slowest start to any game of the year except for the browns

1st quarter wasnt great. There were a lot of overthrows, but overall destroyed a pretty good team today.

yeah, Lamar and the rest of the team came out overhyped but after a quarter they calmed down and played like the number 1 offense and number 1 scoring offense.

I'm also glad Edwards broke the Texans streak of not allowing a 100 yard rusher. Well deserved!

Lamar is the leagues mvp and the race shouldn’t even be close at this point

Our defense is CLICKING right now.

We can now start talking about this being a real super bowl year, with our defense playing at this level and being able to bail out the O if they stall for a few drives, it’s over.

This team might not lose another game this year. Peko and Ellis were great pickups and because of that the 49ers don’t scare me anymore. We shut down receivers, we shut down pocket passers, we contain scramblers, we generally stop run games.

I don’t wanna jinx anything but my god, can anyone stop this?

Lamar spent most of the second half on like 84 yards. Him not cracking 100 yards is the one thing I'm kinda bummed about. How cool would that have been to have a QB be the first 100-yard rusher against the Texans since 2017?

Cant complain though. We made Deshaun Watson look like Baker Mayfield (and off a bye no less). And just a really complete performance all around. I'm just making sure I enjoy this run we've got going.

More Sam Koch vs the Texans facts:
Sam Koch went 1/1 for -2 yards and earned a 79.2 QBR while Deshaun Watson finished with a 63.7 QBR

This is just insane, never did I think we would be THIS GOOD. The crazy thing is that Lamar beat the Texans through the air majority of the game, he used his legs but the passing was where he was dangerous. Lamar is truly a dual threat QB, he can beat you in the air and on the ground with his legs.

As far as the defense... Houston may have improved it's offensive line since adding Tunsil but that line can only hold so much. Watson just holds on to the ball for way, way, WAY too long. Defense played well but some of those sacks were on Watson just not throwing the ball away and living to play another down. Judon needs to be paid ZDS money, end of story.
