Week 13 Discussion (Happy Thanksgiving!)

I really don't understand why he isn't on MNF anymore. Doesn't make sense to me one bit, outside of a cost cutting move.

NBC are paying him a ton but not to be a weekly play-by-play guy (NBC only have 1 definite game every week which is SNF and some thursday games)

I'm hoping they go Joe Burrow and don't take Chase Young. Then they can go winless next year since they wont draft a QB I be thinking.

even if they don't, they will still make out big time in 2021 with either a trade down for a lot of picks or drafting a top player. I want them to start winning some games for that reason.

What would you do if you were the GM?

1) Draft Burrow this year and build around him.

2) Trade down, gather a bunch of picks then Draft Tua hoping he is fully healthy and using the extra picks to build around him.

3) Trade down, gather a bunch of picks and by pass a QB this year and go all in on Trevor Lawrence in 2021.

4) By pass a QB this year, not trade down and just take Chase Young to build your defense around.

Option 1) and wouldn't hesitate at all

all good choices and a very difficult choice to be made. The one choice I probably wouldn't do is option 3, because their is no guarantee the Bengals end up getting the number 1 pick or even if he comes out at the end of his Junior year.

Option 2 is also very risky, because of Tua's health. I would have to know that he would make a 100% recovery, but then his full injury history hasn't been that good. Someone is going to take a chance on him, but I'm not sure I would do that if I was the GM.

The safest option is to take Chase Young and build the defense around him, but the Bengals need a QB more than they need an edge.

That being said, I'm not going the safest route. I would take Burrow, build around him, and not look back.

In today's league, you need a fucking franchise QB. Give me option #1 and call it a day and night.

I'd love to see Burrow pull an Elway and refuse to play for them and demand a trade lol.

Bengals are on their way to their first win of the season with Dalton back under center. Dolphins leading the Eagles, Miami about to spoil the Eagles' NFC East hopes.
