Awesome response.Mayfield on becoming the 30th Browns starting QB since 1999: “It’s 2018. Don’t really care.”
Marc Sessler's response:
‘LET THE PAST DIE. KILL IT IF YOU HAVE TO.’
The 49ers are working out free agent Tom Savage.
The Niners are grasping at straws after losing Jimmy Garoppolo (ACL). One of the least-mobile quarterbacks in modern NFL history, Savage failed to make the Saints' 53-man roster in training camp. C.J. Beathard will be the 49ers' starter for the foreseeable future, unless of course he plays his way out of it.

Wonder whether we'll get a call, asking about Bob's wellbeing
In reality he hasn't been suiting up, so he couldn't possibly be.I doubt we are looking to deal Rob anyway, in reality he’s the backup.
In reality he hasn’t suited up because there hasn’t been a need for a backup. If Joe were to go down tomorrow, in reality Rob would be the starting QB. But that’s in reality. lolIn reality he hasn't been suiting up, so he couldn't possibly be.
And if Joe goes down in the 1st quarter? In reality he hasn’t suited up because there hasn’t been a need for a backup. If Joe were to go down tomorrow, in reality Rob would be the starting QB. But that’s in reality. lol
No, that’s a fantasy, would only be for that game. In reality Lamar is not ready to be an NFL QB, which is why Rob is on the roster. And if Joe goes down in the 1st quarter?
Lamar is in, never looks back. But that's in reality.
whatever you sayNo, that’s a fantasy, would only be for that game. In reality Lamar is not ready to be an NFL QB, which is why Rob is on the roster.
Glad you are able to face reality. lolwhatever you say
huh...WTF?
NFL Network's Tom Pelissero reports Vikings DE Everson Griffen is undergoing an evaluation at a local hospital.
Pelissero reports Griffen has been "battling a serious, mental health-related issue for weeks." That issue apparently manifested itself when Griffen allegedly threatened to shoot someone at a Minneapolis hotel on Saturday. The Vikings released a statement on Monday saying they "are currently focused on Everson's well-being and providing the appropriate support for him and his family."

That's kinda crazy, Vikings might be able to have a big bounce back gameRams likely to be without their top corners, Aquib Talib and Marcus Peters against the Vikings on Thursday.
It will be longer. They said Peters is 2-4 weeks, Talib at least a month.Rams likely to be without their top corners, Aquib Talib and Marcus Peters against the Vikings on Thursday.
