The Browns are one of the teams rumored to trade for Raiders LB/DE Khalil Mack. Mike Florio says there is 4 teams with serious interest, so if the Browns are one of them, wonder who the other three are? The Raiders are asking for two first round picks.

Those would be very high picks
 
I do NOT want Mack on the Browns, that would be bad beyond all measure. By week 5 he will surely be ready to go and he is a force and I am not sure how one stops that at all.

The Raiders are a better team than the Browns and haven’t made much noise with him.

Having 2 generational talents when the Ravens offensive line is to put it kindly lacking at the moment is a recipe for an upset. If they pull off that trade I am more afraid of the Browns pulling an upset than the Bengals because while I do not fear the Browns secondary and I think there offense still has tons of holes that make them a non factor, they have the making of a really good defense and that alone can steal the occasional win

We will have to agree to disagree then. Not saying they wouldn’t be better but even you are calling it an upset.

The Browns as they are do not have a way to really beat the Ravens. I think of it like the Bills in that they are just a bad team with a few nice players but are not particularly good enough at anything for it to be a win condition. Put those 2 players on the same team and now they have a way to win some games. Do I think they will win? Nope. I think it makes it go from a 5% chance they win either game against the Ravens to a 25-30% chance they win either game, but there is also the future to think about. I am thinking about that team next year after they maybe add a few OL pieces from the draft and maybe solidify the secondary and suddenly they are a real playoff threat.

And they give up two first round picks. High ones at that

Also, I don’t care how bad a team is record wise. They always have a better chance than 5% chance of winning
