Just hope Mike Mayock's draft analysis over the years translates to being an actual GM. Gruden hand picked him so we'll see what happens.

Lose.. its easy to say this and that when not much is on the line like it is now. I hope he does well though. One of the few who actually believed in what he said and just didnt say stupid shit as much to get ratings and all that

Adding 30mil in guarantees for a 31 WR is a gamble. What’s their cap space looking like now? They should just go for Le’Veon bell and be Steelers west

Mayock was one of the best FO noves I've seen in a while. If he fails it will most likely be due to Gruden. Mike knows talent. Giving him that draft ammo was dangerous and I fully believe the Raiders will be a top 6-7 roster in 2-3 years.

I dont think so. FIRST, I thi k AB was doing all this knowing hed have to be traded and would be able to co tell which team he went to. Second, everyone says hes one of the hardest working players. You need guys like that showing the young players how to practice. I dont think you'll see anything crazy from AB in Oakland.

When was the last time highly paid WR made a difference? AB is great but what have Steelers done all these years he was killing in Pittsburgh? Yeah, nothing.
He's now 31 and there's no way he's worth that much.

They're most likely not winning anything in the next two years anyway. Why not? And someone here said for a 3rs and a 5th. His game isn't built on speed. It's quickness, route running and hands. Age won't be a problem for him unless it's injuries.
