Signings, Cuts, Trades

The offense has been the priority in the draft since Lamar took over. We’ve just not done a great job with it. Also just bad luck , Hollywood was injured his sophomore and senior year of college, i think he missed one game for the Ravens? Bateman was healthy through out college, can’t stay on the field. Weird the way it works out sometimes
Injuries are the worst part of football, and I hate how they've derailed guys' careers or ruined a team's season

I look more at the way the Ravens addressed the receiver position this year as a failure. I think they've overall done fine, but counting on Dobbins and Edwards to be fully good to go, counting on no receiver/Andrews to get injured, relying on Ju'wuan James as your starting LT until Stanley gets back...

Just a lot of risks that I think were not well planned for and now those risks are magnified because what could have gone wrong did in fact go wrong.

But yes, I agree that overall the Ravens have done a good job in general of trying to get some level of offensive talent for Lamar.

It's interesting because we seem to be playing this ping pong game where we plus up one area then plus up another the next year. It seems like next year we're bound to plus up the offense with skill positions. Not sure if it'll work out but going to be hard to not do it. I think there is a very real chance Marcus Peters is on his way out as well. I don't know if he is playing up to par with his performance and could still be making his way back. I think it is obvious we need WRs and possibly RB. Honestly, there's no set position for the most part except maybe TE on offense. Very weird predicament for us currently.

Juiceman will be fine. He is coming back from ACL, still getting used to game speed.
I hope he and the Ravens agree to extension and he retires a Raven.

Well, in fairness:
1. They drafted a RB, though a late rounder. But in this league, late round RBs can be successful all the time . Just like Edwards, a UDFA, was. They also signed Drake. Couldn't have expected him to be available, but decent RBs end up in FA every year too, so its not totally unreasonable.
2. I think they did fine at Tackle. They signed Moses, extended Mekari, and brought in Faalele. Did they draft like a first rounder to be a swing tackle? No, but Tackle depth in general is by far one of the strengths of this team. I'm not really sure what there is to complain about there.

WR this offseason was a failure for me. And until this past week, I think not upgrading ILB in some fashion was a failure, but we've seemingly rectified that. I take the approach that this team had many, many, many holes to fill coming into this season, and they didn't fill all of them. Not surprising to me at all.

As you say there were many holes to fill, and EDC had to make decisions on where to place the resources to best address the deficiencies. As has happened a lot to this team injuries derailed plans a bit. Even with the holes at WR I think they’ve done a great job fielding a squad that remains competitive at the top of the league.

one of the most underrated injuries we have had all season happened in week 1 when we lost Kyle Fuller for the season. With Marcus Peters very possibly gone, we need to extend him and sign another good CB. I believe WR / DL / CB are our top needs, but Guard could be added to the list with Ben Powers in a contract year and of course ILB would be added to the list if we don't extend Roquan Smith.

Obviously only way we can be active in FA is to extend Lamar.

I’ve been watching breakdowns and film since I heard the news. I’ve seen some instances of him doing both but it does seem like he’s constantly slipping blocks.

What’s your thoughts on his game?

The boy closes in like lightning and breaks down and maintains leverage and makes sure tackles all over the field though

oh 100%
just pointing out that he's not some bruiser - he wins in different ways

WR matter, Roman is a cuck

lol, she's also getting destroyed for these takes, because she's basically saying she doesn't care how much they cost or what the rest of the roster looks like.

Like nobody thinks the Cowboys are better off spending $20M on Amari Cooper. That's totally illogical. Just like thinking the Rams would be significantly better if Robert Woods were on the team (which is comically ironic in this case, considering she's complaining about how the Titans don't have good receivers, yet they have, wait for it... Robert Woods).

So, Frank Reich is now a free agent after being let go as the Colts' HC. Would definitely love having him as an OC.

I was just coming here to say why do I think he’s going to be our next OC lol
