i think with only 1 year left on his deal (having to therefore make him the 2nd highest paid DL in the league behind a generational player) that the 13th pick is pretty steep but he's definitely at that 1st round pick type level - just surprised it's such a high 1st rounder i guess

I think that's what is throwing me off the most. Massive contract and a top half 1st rounder? Tough pill to swallow.
 
i'd also suggest we not waste time with jihad ward. He's a below average player that was given time because our OLBs sucked
