Bradham, Peanut, and Woodyard are really the only 3 left that I even have a little bit of interest in. If you do one of the first 2, you're still in need of a MIKE as both would likely play the WILL. At least with Bradham, you can trust him as the solo LBer on the field in nickel since he can actually cover. Woodyard is on the older side but could be a good insurance policy if you can get him close to the minimum.
You might be able to sell me on something like a Jake Ryan injury flyer, but that's much more of a camp body type of signing than anything substantial so I won't count that into the above.
With all of that, I'm not overly interested in any. Would like a vet for insurance but I have no doubts we're looking toward the draft to fix that spot.
Bradham can cover, Woodyard is washed.
So that number includes Brockers' contract? That's more space than I thought we had, but is that right up against the amount saved for draft picks?

Brian is estimating $2.5-3M for the draft pool as of now. Assuming we carry over around $5M for PS additions and emergency funds, that gives us just under $3M we can spend if we want to. Would imagine we'll hold out for now, but we're not completely out of money.
Still have a potential Peters restructure to open up another $2M if we think we need it.
All of those little moves (Koch extension, Fort and Ricard restructures) added up to give us some space.
parsing out what EDC said in his recent podcast appearance on the lounge - we're not in the phase of actively fighting in free agency for talent but if something comes up that makes sense they feel like they're in position salary-cap-wise to pounce and make a move fairly unhindered by those cap constraints
which makes sense - we're not going to be giving out an 8 figure average contract to anyone on the market at this point - but if someone comes available we've likely got enough cap space to bring in another guy at a medium level contract if we so desire
