We need to sign a free agent CB. We are too damn thin at the position with Averett and Young both gone.

Too expensive and the draft class is pretty good as far as corners go.

If you had told me at the start of FA that Tomlinson and Averett would be the only 2 FAs gone while Bozeman and Campbell are still out there, I'd have thought you were crazy. I was convinced Averett was a wave 2 guy.

Yeah I love this corner class. I wasn’t too high on drafting a cb early but all of a sudden I really hope one of the big two fall to us, and I don’t hate Gordon/woolen/mccreary in round 2 either. Coby Bryant, Marcus jones, Martin Emerson, and jermaine waller are day 3 guys I’m REALLY high on.

I hope so man. I’m down to backload a bit to bring him back. That continuity and camaraderie bozeman has with the team is huge and if he comes at a few mill less than we all thought, then let’s go, make it happen. I think he’s the type of guy we might see a big improvement from in year 2 in his position.

Would be a huge cherry on top of this awesome FA class. I think Calais might be gone though, would love to see us do anything to retain the two and then call it a day, backloading included.

The one thing that I'm curious about is if he wants a 1 year deal to try the market again next year, and that'd be hard for us to do at this juncture. Gotta think some of these guys that aren't getting what they hopes might risk it depending on the level of difference in those numbers.
