Signings, Cuts, Trades

That would be so friggin' smart for any AFC QB right now! Brady and ARod are sitting pretty with a free ticket to the NFC Championship game.
Well the reigning SB champ is in that conference, and I'd take them, far and away, over the Packers at the moment.

I also think SF is and will probably be better than both the Bucs and Packers this coming year also.

Baker needs to demand a trade to a NFC team at this point. I just wonder if Atlanta or New Orleans would take Baker. Too many QBs in the AFC... easy walk in the NFC for Stafford, Rodgers and Brady.

Unless the Panthers and/or Falcons come calling, I think Jimmy may very stay as a Niner this coming season.

Jameis Winston re-signing with the Saints.

The #Saints are re-signing QB Jameis Winston to a two-year deal with a base value of $28 million, including $21M guaranteed, sources tell me and @RapSheet.

So after missing out on Deshaun Watson, New Orleans turns to an old friend at QB.

Fuck him

Yeah, like I can understand why people are mad at him for backing out of a deal that he originally agreed to, but the dude should be making bank (provided that his back is a non-issue).

what's really frustrating based on the article that came out today/yesterday, is that it sounds like the ravens hashed out a new deal with him after the jones and milller signings that they agreed to also - so he backed out of 2 deals

you guys remember when dez bryant did this to the ravens as well - also didnt get the money he wanted then got injured

If no team is willing to give it to him, then he shouldn't. That's how markets work. Just because he has stats that kind of, sort of, support his price doesn't mean he will get his price.

I'll bet he comes in well under that, and with little to no guaranteed money beyond year 1.

Is it even at all possible that Mayfields NFL career is over? Lol seems incredibly unlikely. But maybe he won't be a day 1 starter next year? Who's gonna pick him up?

Browns will release him and if the price is ok then I see:
Panthers, Seahawks, Texans

Lions should be looking as well, and I also don't think Philly is as committed to Hurts as they say they are. Mayfield won't have trouble finding a job.
