Where is the landry smoke even coming from? I havent seen anything at all
 
I'm obviously all for Jarvis but I'm just so certain we can get good slot play out of the combination of Proche and Wallace. Duv will bring something in terms of screens and sweeps. Bateman can play outside. The issue is he is the only one who can. There is ZERO outside receiver depth. You'd could argue there's a missing outside receiver starter and missing depth.

With that being said, maybe Julio is should be the guy because ultimately his skill set is more required. If we bring in Jarvis that's great he's a great football player. But we'd still have no outside WRs.

I've said multiple times Julio might be washed but if I'm choosing between him and Fuller, I'm probably choosing Julio. Fuller has never been healthy. It's possible Julio can give you most if a season. Maybe not likely but at least possible.

Landry isn't a pure slot receiver. 45 percent of his routes last year were ran from the slot so that just leaves the rest of the 55 percent of routes being ran elsewhere. Landry never had the speed to consistently best a defender deep but his route running has always made him efficient enough to make plays on the outside. He's more of a possession receiver than a slot receiver

I understand the thought process behind wanting Jones, but I think he is done man. Even healthy he didn't look great last year.

we won't. Davis is most likely here to take camp reps through training camp, if Edwards and or Dobbins aren't available.

Well Badie is merely a 6th rounder, so I'm not sure his roster spot is safe. If Gus and JK are actually back, either Badie or Davis likely doesn't make the team.
One other thing I'd note is that its possible we maybe carry one less Olineman this year. It's a bit early to go roster selecting, but versatility from somebody like Mekari may make that an option.
For example, I'm not sure its a guarantee that TCC makes the squad as a reserve Center. If Mekari is the top backup at just about every position (still true even if he starts at LG), including Center, then I obviously don't see the point of three Centers on the roster. Especially when TCC appears to just be limited to that position.

Again way too early to be projecting 53 man rosters, but I'm not entirely unconvinced that the Ravens couldn't carry 4 RBs and a FB if they wanted to, especially if 2-3 guys are special teams contributors.

Badie can return kicks. Although I don't think his roster spot is safe, I do believe he makes the team.

Thanks! As rossi said above I know he also did play some Z but I thought the percentages were more skewed than that. That's interesting and good news.

He's not going to be a big time field stretcher but people will be forced to respect him. And if you have the threat of the running game and he's receiving threat 3 behind Andrews and Bateman, he should be able to cook

In a vacuum that’s definitely possible but tough if you’re also carrying 4 TEs too

You do free up a spot or 2 if you only keep 5 WRs rather than the 7 we had at some points last year
