Signings, Cuts, Trades

I am saying that under the idea that Lamar is flawed right now. My eyes tell me that Lamar cost us last game and probably one more.

Receivers not getting open does not help a struggling QB

the 2 things are not mutually exclusive

lamar being bad the last couple of games can't be solely attributed to the poor WR depth... that said the poor WR depth is 100% part of the issue - there's only so much you can do when no one's open

that doesn't absolve lamar of poor reads in the running game and just missing throws (especially those 2 or 3 deep shots the last 2 games) but it does certainly account for some of our inability to move the ball consistently

Kolar returning to practice this week which probably does not bode well for Nick Boyle in 3ish weeks. Feel like he's only here for cap reasons but they might have to just bite the bullet. 5 TEs + Ricard is unsustainable.

what's odd is that i saw boyle early in the game on sunday and i think it was his first snap of the game he pancaked a defender and paved the way for a nice run...

then only had 4 other snaps the whole game

Yeah everyone is uniquely fixated on one thing but in reality there are so many problems simultaneously. And obviously a lot are related.

No pass rush
No WR depth
Worst in league WR separation
Lamar poor play in terms of over throws
Lamar poor decision making and turnovers
Linderbaum silent count and snapping
Not lining up in the right formations
A million false starts
Egregiously stupid taunting penalties
MM calling soft as shit defensive play calls
In general poor execution
Constant injuries
Being on the wrong side of ref calls more often than the right (especially PI and holding)

I didn't say it's because of receiver depth. All I am saying is that it doesn't help (I was looking at the separation or lack thereof against the Giants)

Lamar has not played well these last few games and it's not on the receivers that he is decided to force something.

I think my point might have got lost lol

We live and die on Lamar, that is something we can all agree on. Either he makes the plays and we win, or he does stupid turnovers that lead to losses. We can't invest $300M into him but not give him any weapons. It's great Duvernay is becoming the guy but we need to keep him long-term along with Lamar. We just need one more weapon.... we'll be fine.

i wasnt really arguing with your point - just adding to it based on the discussion you were having

Saw this on another forum and man can't argue somethings not right and we see it.

The Ravens are not okay:
-Hollywood forces a trade
-Lamar doesn’t resign and likes posts of him in other teams’ jerseys
-Dobbins liking tweets about getting traded
-Bateman openly making fun of the signing of his new teammate
-Marlo Tweet
-Peters blow up

The Bateman one I haven't verified I don't have twitter so I can't see.

The Bateman tweet is definitely real

Point 3 on your list--when was it ever not that?

The Peters one I don't put much into it. Heck, Peters and Harbs had a quick embrace after he made a good play on Sunday. I forget which quarter it was.

Until we get rid of Greg Roman, no receiver will want to come here and we will never win a Super Bowl. Just promote Tee Martin or Keith Williams already.

Gee, I’ve been saying this since last year. We will never win a super bowl so long as Roman is here
