Signings, Cuts, Trades

Think he's a fine pass rusher in some sense but don't think he's drastically different from what we already have in Houston and JPP. Plus Bowser and Ojabo likely coming back soonish and then Oweh. About to be a crowded room there.

he's also clearly not what he was last year when he came back unexpectedly to a huge double-digit sack season

The oddly maybe more WR needy Giants just traded away Toney and we’re mad? Feel like that says a lot more about Toney than the Giants. There are lots of other issues there clearly and that was apparent from college.

Yeah the guy hasn't been healthy since probably week 1 and the team just didn't seem to like him like that.

I can understand not trading for HIM but it still seems like a lack of effort and just flat out being cheap from the FO at the position. But we've been told Proche will see "MANY" snap so I'll shut up...
How do we know they didn't try?

If these trade prices we've seen so far are any indication, I'm okay with not making any moves. Don't think we should be doing stuff just for the sake of doing it.

For the sake of winning? Hell yeah we should be. Damn, I thought that was the ultimate single goal, to win games.

Would be amazing to see if Pat and Reid can tap into Tony's potential.

Needs to stay healthy

when he's on the field and given the ball he's been electric

but has clearly struggled getting on the field and staying on the field, and being reliable enough to get the ball in the first place

KC spending a fair bit of capital on that risk

I think a 4th would have made sense and I would have been comfortable with that.

He is potentially worth a lot more than that but there is a big IF

Liked him in college a LOT. Not since he's been in the league

he's got an elite physical trait (his lower body flexibility) and an awesome ability to be creative with the ball in his hands

that was highly intriguing for sure - i thought though that he was more of a top 50 type prospect than a 1st round talent

Prototypical guy that won off of just being better than everyone else on the field in college, and struggling with the realization that he has to put in work at the NFL level because everyone else is just as good. He can be a really damn good player, but he has to want to get there and the indications right now are that he doesn't. Definitely a risk on KC's part. Could work or could not work, but he's in a really good spot to realize that potential if he's willing to put in the work for it.

He's got everything he could possibly ask for. An offense that will get him the ball, a QB that can do it, and a core that currently he can compete with for his share
