The thing is, he’s his own agent. So we can’t technically talk to him about extension prior to the trade I think. That’s one of the drawbacks to being your own agent.

Tend to agree. That's a lot of compensation to give up if you don't have parameters of an extension in place. Very expensive rental.

And franchise tag is off the table unless you extend Lamar prior.
