the thing that's difficult about a hypothetical trade for DHop is that he wants a new deal
he's already 30 so we're potentially spending draft capital and a new deal (when we're already strapped for space once Lamar's under contract) - that's a lot to spend on someone who's not been very available the last 2 years

it's not about how much it is now, but if DHop wants a new contract it will most likely be much more.

Currently the salaries are pretty high, with Brandon Cooks having an 18m salary and DHop having a 19.450m salary.

Most likely the salaries would be converted to signing bonus and then spread out over the length of the contract.
