Can also say that even if Trey agreed to a deal elsewhere day 1, they still would have called off the Maxx deal yesterday. Despite all of the posturing and talking heads pushing their thoughts, they wanted Maxx. They like Trey a lot and were interested in him well before the Maxx deal, but Maxx was the prize all along.

I dnt even remember trey and that says alot. We have played him 2x a year i dnt remember any plays he made vs us. We played crosby once and ill never forget what he did
 
Hendrickson is a good player. He is no Maxx Crosby (obviously) but what can you do.

The ravens had to address the pass rush and this was comfortably the best way to do it imo.

Maxx is one of 2-3 defensive players who can take over a game, Trey is "merely" a top 5 pass rusher. But Trey + 2 1st rdrs I will take all day.
 
Not sure how you dislike the Trey Hendrickson signing. Is he Maxx Crosby ? No but he definitely should help the pass rush department. Hes not great at setting the edge or defending against the run but the ravens likely won't need him to on a consistent basis
 
Ok well I hope we can get 2 or 3 good years out of him. Should help Mike Green a bit. Truly repulsed by Tavius Robinson in a true starting role so this is a good thing. Probably need one more legit guy though.

For sure. Trey never sacked Lamar once. Bengals fans biggest complaints are he disappears and pads stats in meaningless games. I definitely wasn’t as excited but we are where we are now, it’s better than what we had but we can’t be done. Go trade for that Vikings guy now
 
We just lost our 3rd round comp pick for Linderbaum by signing Hendrickson. Media is going to say whatever to push a narrative to make us look bad, who cares what they say. At the end of the day we got our pass rusher, now let's focus on the offensive line.

What I do want to know is if the Raiders knew about the arthritis and didn't disclose it before trading him to use.

Thing I haven't seen mentioned yet is that the Beeks situation had to be weighing heavy on the decision. You can survive 1 sunken cost mega contract, you can't survive 2.

The MacDonald/Minter defense depends on being able to stop the run with 4 and Trey can't help with that. Giving Minnesota the 2nd they wanted for Greenard would be a much better move. He's not the pass rusher Trey is but he's much better than we had last year.

Great pass rusher. No where near the all around player Crosby is to me but he will get pressure for damn sure.
