I have done the plunge with snow on the beach and 35 degree temps.

So what is everyone's fascination with being drunk?
Did that a few times when I was a teenager. Didn't find it even a little bit enjoyable.
I mean it is generally expensive, very bad for you physically, potentially damaging socially.
I don't see any benefit or pluses. Can someone enlighten me ?

Not expensive in Spain in the slightest. Am with a group of friends. Ironically they're more drunk than me. I just make sure they don't get killed or sexually assaulted. I generally do a really good job actually. I like whisky and wine though

it's a great way of losing inhibitions, forgetting about the struggle, being able to chat shit with a group of friends and have a dance...
it also gets me to sleep if i drink a lot when im on a night out...
the absolute best though is when you're just hanging out slowly getting buzzed through a long evening or starting early during a hot day with a bbq and going into the night...
it's not really a quantifiable benefit especially as hangovers are the worst but at the time it's a lot of fun...
i assume he needs a doctor's note too - a full physical...
