That’s pretty cool actually. Only takes place during the off-season so it doesn’t interfere with the NFL. It’ll be interesting to see how it plays out.

Indeed. Gives us something to be preoccupied with while the offseason takes place. I dig it.

This league makes a lot more sense - it fills an open slot in the calendar for football fans, doesn’t directly compete with the nfl or it’s revenue so the nfl won’t be incentivised to crush it, it also will be a league that enables forgotten or younger players to showcase their talent to nfl franchises looking for bargains in the offseason because the league would finish before training camp

And almost more importantly it’s got some football minds in important positions and around the whole structure - it’s a league backed my former players so you’ve got to think it’s going to be structured as a player friendly league which will encourage players to play in it and also foster extra interest from nfl fans

Precisely. Based on this article, it doesn't even intend to compete with the big boys. If anything, it'll serve as a compliment. I'm eager to know the full structure of this league, i.e. compensation, catch rules (lol), etc. I'm sure we will learn more later on in the year.
