If a Mike Wallace who underachieved probably more in Miami and Minnesota got a 2 year $11.5 million deal I think Watkins will likely get more than $5 million.... I think he will likely get a 1 year prove it type deal with a team worth probably $7-8 million just based off of his physical traits and how he played as a rookie and sophomore.
I agree we live in a league today where teams have to take chances sometimes to turn teams around. Watkins is that physical freak that if he goes to the right place he could put up 1200-1300 yards in a season. I mean his first two seasons he averaged about 1000 in a Bills team that has been a run first team. Just take a look at the draft, teams always find solid starters in the middle rounds because the first round is all about taking the physical freaks of nature that may not even have the stats or long-term football background. Teams feel like they can mold an athletic freak of nature into a ball player and sometimes it works out but I would say more often than not it does not. But there will be a team like us in the middle of the pack that could view Watkins as a potential answer for the team and will pay big bucks for that high reward. A team like us, the Cardinals, or another team with a good amount of talent but looking at .500 seasons right now.

Can’t really say that. Smith went over 1000 yards in 2014 and was on pace for than that in 2015. Maybe he wasn’t a top 5 to 10 #1, but he was a number 1 wideout. Unless you are referring to the draft, then yeah, I agree.
