likely west (either cut or i/r) and rainey

It's a good point. With Rainey becoming our primary kr and Collins taking on a larger role and Woodhead coming back, it's quite possible he is cut. On the other hand, it's also possible that they keep TWest instead of Rainey due to him only being our kr. I could see it going both ways, especially since Rainey's salary isn't guaranteed and TWests.Random thought but when Danny wood head is activated what RB do you guys think is cut I have a feeling Twest is out
I forgot Rainey was still a Raven.likely west (either cut or i/r) and rainey
They won't cut injured West. Rainey, I reckon.Random thought but when Danny wood head is activated what RB do you guys think is cut I have a feeling Twest is out
The first kind of offense was Air Coryell because I don't think Flacco had a season where he threw more INTs than TDs. However, I still feel iffy about the pass-protection.air croyell or Erhardt Perkins.
first takes advantage of flacco arm and goes well with the receivers on the roster.
latter is a very QB friendly system , which should makes things easier for the QB.

He’d be very cheap to keep for next year. I’d keep him. Here's a question about perriman:
Say he doesn't improve the remaining of the season (highly likely), is it even worth keeping him for his final year? How much of a cap saving would we save if we were to cut him?
Ugh...feels like a wasted roster spot at this pointHe’d be very cheap to keep for next year. I’d keep him.
Just over $1.5 mil, leaving us with $1.15 mil dead money. Here's a question about perriman:

I just opened up a new thread for discussion where I answered you question regarding the Erhardt Perkins and why it would be beneficial here in Baltimore. The first kind of offense was Air Coryell because I don't think Flacco had a season where he threw more INTs than TDs. Now as far as Erhardt-Perkins is concerned, I know absolutely nothing about it. What exactly is it? @RavensMania , you can chime in as well.
Good lookin' out. I'll be sure to read it.I just opened up a new thread for discussion where I answered you question regarding the Erhardt Perkins and why it would be beneficial here in Baltimore.
I think it’s time he is replaced and I do believe coaching has a hand in a players development, much more than any other sport. Coaches are absolutely in charge of putting the players in the right position to succeed. @TheCity5
I think people are getting the wrong idea on how much this falls on Engram. Engram has been here since 2014, it's not like he has been here since this franchise existence. This problem we have with rookie receivers extends far beyond him. The Ravens simply have to do a better job of evaluating talent at the receiver position. For all the praise I give Ozzie Newsome, I will say that his weakness is finding young receiver talent. Yes, I give Ozzie most of the blame here, for all the years we have had trouble in finding receiving talent, the one constant has always been Ozzie. Engram's job isn't to help just the young receivers develop, he's also responsible for the veterans as well and Mike Wallace, Kamar Aiken and Steve Smith Sr. have all had career rejuvenations here and I think Engram deserves credit for that, as does Ozzie, in this case you can certainly credit Joe as well but I think Engram was given credit by those three on what they have done here.im not sure it is our scouts. i think it is ozzie overriding everyone when on the clock and taking gambles on guys like correia, arthur brown etc etc.. thinking he is going to out smart every other gm instead of drafting diggs, juju and some of the other guys we have passed over, plus i do not think engram has done a good job developing the guys we do draft. i have seen no improvement in moore, perriman when healthy, matthews etc etc.. jmo
I think the QB and offense issues is attributed to not getting receiver talent. This ship is only going to continue to sink if the Ravens don't try to find good receiving talent.I’ve soured on selecting a WR in the first couple of rounds unless said WR is in the same class as Julio Jones, Calvin Johnson, AJ Green, etc., where you just know he’s going to be a stud regardless of the QB position. It’s a recipe for disaster in my opinion. We don’t have a very good QB, an awful OC and coaches that can’t develop WR’s to save their lives. I’d rather just stick with proven Vets while Ozzie and company are running the show.

In terms of Perriman, Moore, Matthews and others? Just what did you expect of them? I can understand Perriman but Moore was a guy who went in the 4th round for a reason, and I think Chris Matthews was cut by the Seahawks mid-season of 2015 before coming here. I don't think we have given Engram a serious young talent outside of Perriman who cannot stay healthy for the life of him. How can Engram work with someone who isn't on the field to begin with?
I think Calvin Ridley will solve this issue for us but it will potentially take the Ravens making a move for him. If they're serious about getting young talent then they need to act on it.
Marlon Brown really was not as good as people thought he was. I was disappointed in his 2nd year but the guy really didn't possess the skill to separate and was underwhelming in terms of speed. I don't think you had much there to begin with but again, that's a guy who was undrafted. We're not talking about someone who the Ravens moved up for in the 1st round nor are we talking about a guy the Ravens were aggressively perusing, we're talking about a guy who was undrafted. I think the Ravens need to get more serious with getting a young receiver here.i mean the wr coach before engram was pretty crap too - part of it may well be drafting but so many of our non-vet receivers have regressed once they get here
also an important note ill make is that our offence as a whole improved in 2014 but our young wrs regressed significantly from the season before - marlon brown disappeared, torrey smith regressed considerably - those two had the equal 2 best rookie seasons of any wr we've had and yet from 2014 onwards significantly regressed - im not saying for sure thats on engram but its a worrying trend
mike wallace hasnt really improved since he got here - he just has a qb who can throw him the deep balls he needs to get big numbers for the first time since pittsburgh
kamar aiken is an engram success story for sure
smithy was always that level of receiver but for some reason the panthers thought he was on his way out so they got rid of him - that's our gain i guess
Say what you want but we can't beat the Vikings without Marlon Brown.Marlon Brown really was not as good as people thought he was. I think the same can be said about Torrey in a certain aspect. Great player but he wasn't a #1 receiver and I think Steve Smith Sr. clearly showed that. As a #2 I think he did well, I can't get upset about 700s yards and 11 TDs as a #2 option, he just shouldn't have been relied upon as a #1, but who's fault is that? Does that fall on Engram or Ozzie?
Oh he played one hell of a game but I think Pittas return was huge. At the same time, I think we would win if we had more offensive talent.Say what you want but we can't beat the Vikings without Marlon Brown.
