I love who Josh Gordon is as a player and what he adds to an offense. But with how many issues he has had in the league, any small mix up even if he wasn't directly involved would result in him being banned from the league for the rest of his career most likely. I mean you can give the guy a decent incentive based contract based on how well he performs on the field, but you definitely need to surround him with strong leaders in the locker room.i was a big fan of josh gordon when he was at baylor and in nfl. If he can stop smoking i think he would fit us pretty good.

And I agree he did a complete 180 and I want him to succeed. My point was the NFL can knock you for anything even if you aren't directly involved. An example, if Josh Gordon was with someone that started a brawl and he was just in the vicinity, you know for damn sure the NFL will do everything in their power to go after him even if he had nothing to do with it. And with his spotty history they will do everything in their power to keep him in check.tbf to josh gordon he really seems to genuinely have put the work in at rehab to change his life - and i really am pulling for him having listened to how he'd talk about his experiences in the league pre-game and in the weeks around the regular season/offseason and dealing with addiction etc.
it would be really nice if he could salvage a career at this point now that he seems to have actively decided to turn it around
There’s no way we would sign him, not with his history. We like angels off the field. The last time we signed a WR with a spotty past was Stallworth, and that didn’t work out at all. JG will never be a Raven.i was a big fan of josh gordon when he was at baylor and in nfl. If he can stop smoking i think he would fit us pretty good.
I feel like Maclin and Perriman are deep threats? Maclin has the tools honestly to be a top 10 receiver in this league with his legs and hands but never stays healthy and the Ravens offense sucks... Perriman has speed but really concerning going into next season. If the team has Maclin and Landry I would cry of happiness. We really need to sign Landry. He’s a TD and reception machine, plus he’s a Ravens fan. It just makes too much sense. He’d be perfect in this offense. We can get our deep threat in the draft. It’s absolutely imperative we sign Jarvis. Haven’t had a WR like him since Boldin.
I’ve lost all hope in Perriman, and I used to be one of his biggest supporters. I’m hopping on the wagon of thinking he might not even be here next year. I was just planning on life without him. I don’t think Wallace is retained either, so we need to infuse this offense with young speed on the outside to keep defenses honest.I feel like Maclin and Perriman are deep threats? I agree that the Ravens deactivating him is likely a sign he is done. But I think the Ravens have Chris Moore still to look forward to he showed some stuff while in a couple times. More than likely they will have to cut Wallace.I’ve lost all hope in Perriman, and I used to be one of his biggest supporters. Dream scenario would be signing Landry and getting a WR early in the draft to go with Maclin.
Still think the Ravens need some extra juice on o-line and rb though.. Will be interesting.
I just don’t have faith in Moore, nor do I have faith in Campanero. I think we need to hit the reset button when it comes to WRs but retain Maclin. Imagine signing Landry and drafting Ridley. Flacco would be salivating over Ridley, Maclin and Landry.I agree that the Ravens deactivating him is likely a sign he is done. I would be salivating over that receiving core lmaoI just don’t have faith in Moore, nor do I have faith in Campanero. I think we need to hit the reset button when it comes to WRs but retain Maclin. I have more faith in camp than i do in flacco.I just don’t have faith in Moore, nor do I have faith in Campanero. I think we need to hit the reset button when it comes to WRs but retain Maclin. Imagine signing Landry and drafting Ridley. Flacco would be salivating over Ridley, Maclin and Landry.

I like their roles on ST but that’s it. Moore doesn’t have reliable hands and Camp is Mr. Glass. We need to surround Flacco with as much talent as possible. Mediocrity at skill positions is really hampering this offense. Ridley and Landry would be a dream come true, relegating Camp and Moore to 4 and 5, respectively.not trusting camp and moore doesnt mean you need to completely reset (yeah you make damn sure that they are lowered to 4th and 5th receiver at best but they still have roles on this team) but you dont gain anything by jettisoning those two off the roster - you just dont build around them being major parts of the offence (which would be a healthy philosophy anyway)

Well if the front office has balls, they’ll trade up to secure him.If we draft late teens or in the 20's we're not getting Ridley but damn that would be a nice trio.
From late teens to where he'll be available is too expensive for Ozzie's taste, unfortunately.Well if the front office has balls, they’ll trade up to secure him.
