My friend was on a vent for 8 weeks. I never thought she was going to make it, yet she did. However now she is in assisted living and has been there for over a year. She has lost use of her right arm due to covid and can barely talk as she speaks in a whisper. So having bipolar and now this is a tough life, but she has a great outlook on life and maintains that, even being the youngest in the assisted living facility.

best of his career. He has had 2 good games all year and basically sucked the rest. Little exaggeration, but he hasn't been good this year.
 
If you had told me back in July that our CB group would be Anthony Averett, Jimmy Smith, Tavon Young, Chris Westry, and Kevon Seymour, I'd have thought you were crazy.

Maybe Jimmy can channel vintage Jimmy and return to 2014 form along with Tavon and then Averett goes on a tear to become elite for a stretch.

It's not the absolute worst CB group in the world pending health. I'm sure there are still some teams out there that would like to have our top 3/4 over theirs. But when you have Humphrey and Peters as well, it's a real downer.

Yeah not to mention the OL and RB’s. It’s incredible to me that this team has 8 wins.
 
My wife and daughter were off deck the last four days which means a chance to catch up on movies they have no interest in watching. I went with the much hyped “Dune” and the new James Bond.

I thought Dune was horribly boring. What did fans like so much about this?Just incredibly dragged out scenes.Really good music though

James Bond , which got decent reviews, i thought was pretty entertaining and tied up loose ends to the other Craig Bond films.

Thoughts?

i adored Dune lol - it was 100% my kind of shit - a proper epic both in tone and mood and the sense of scale was awesome - it was like a 2 and a half hour tone poem - stunning and atmospheric and intriguing and incredibly well made

but... i can also see why some would not be into it

bond was decent - not my favourite of the craig bond films (but also nowhere near the worst either) but it did some interesting things narratively and mostly landed the important story and character beats

Visually stunning without a doubt. Music was also epic. I just kept thinking “ ok something is about to happen , no? ok now something is definitely going to happen…. WTF nothing happened” Its clearly a multilayered and complex story that’s tough to jam in a two hour window. I also probably should have been sober watching.

For all of the comments about losing Ben Mason... he was cut by NE nearly a month ago and hasn't latched on elsewhere to this point. Just an interesting anecdote. People should finally stop being pissed about losing him but also furthers the argument that he never should have been drafted in the first place.

The last part is all that needs to be stated.

I don’t wanna say worst draft pick in ravens history, because there are some ugly ones from higher rounds, but we literally just threw away a fifth round pick for shits and giggles and I highly doubt anyone had any vision of Ben Mason being worth a fuck on an nfl field

Put him right up there with Keenan Reynolds. Anyone watched a minute of Navy football knew that dude had no chance in the NFL as a wide receiver. Slow slow slow
