The Random Thought Thread

I'm surprised we're not higher on the list as a percentage. Then again we also pass less often then them.
Once you factor in the number of passes by each QB, you'll find Lamar is at the top of the list. Just my surmise.

On the Stout discussion, I feel like he's been alright but definitely more on the disappointing side... especially when you use a 4th rounder. With that being said, he's had a couple of really good games which gives me hope. Can't remember exactly which, but there was one game where he practically flipped the field on his own and kept us in that game. He just needs to be more consistent. The skill is there.

oh yeah - not writing him off at all

just pointing out that he's been not what we'd hoped so far

It did matter though because running the ball made no sense against Denver because it wasn't working.

Guess what was working against Cleveland...

And don't give me the red zone shit again. We're talking about moving the ball downfield.

also - FGs win that game lol...

Also a pretty steep curve to be graded on...
Punters are like overall ST play to me. Don't need to be great, just can't suck at it. Teams that have more effective offensive output week to week don't care as much about how well their Punter does.

Yup. And when we didn't convert in the red zone in the 50% of the time we got there, was it pass play or running play?
I have more confidence in handing off to JK or Gus in the RZ than I do a pass from Huntley or a handoff to Ricard, which we did on one of those 4th and 1's.

So we need to win and at least 2 of the AFC East teams that aren't the Bills to win. Knowing our luck, I can see one of the scenarios happening:

1. We win, but so do 2 of the AFC East teams.

2. We lose, but so do 2 of the AFC East teams.

In the first three quarters, sure. In the 4th quarter in a 2 score game, I think that confidence is almost impossible to sell.

It's official... NFL Sunday Ticket is heading to YouTube TV and YouTube Prime in 2023. So as someone who doesn't have YouTube TV, is it worth it outside of NFL Season?

NFL Sunday Ticket will be available via 2 options: stand-alone YouTube premium TV service as well as an add-on to YouTube TV.

Yeah but its also a 3 week scenario.
So any win from us in the next 3 weeks + any 2 of the Patriots, Jets or Dolphins losing another game means we're in the playoffs. And all three of those teams could easily lose this week

completely disagree. We needed to get into the red zone in the 4th quarter and we could have easily moved down the field handing the ball off to JK and Edwards. We aren't saying to ONLY hand off, but give them more than 1 carry during the 4th quarter.

MAYBE the Jets, definitely the Patriots, but I disagree with the Dolphins. I don't see the Packers' offense keeping up with the Dolphins tbh.
