The Random Thought Thread

Anyone else watched Quarterback on Netflix? I’m a couple episodes in and all I can think about is how likable all three QBs are. Cousins and Mariota in particular because they haven’t had the success of Mahomes, but they both come off as candid and humble dudes.
 
Final day in Michigan, did the tour of Michigan Stadium. It's not as detailed as the Raiders tour but for $20 it's not bad. Got to go on the field, it was pretty neat.

Airport delays are the worst. Just trying to get back home and going on a couple hours delay if it doesn't get delayed further.

Also anyone else just want their old Twitter and the blue bird back? Elon, give us back our old Twitter.

And there have been plenty delays. Even worse living in Florida.

Add in all our senators are same age or reaching those ages. That's the biggest problem, no term limits so people who have been serving for decades still try to make laws based on when they got into office. All of them are out of touch.

It’s a rigged game homie. Worst part is they’ve convinced everyday Americans that they should hate each other rather than the elite that run both parties. O well

Pretty much why we are so divided as a country and why nobody can have an opinion without someone being offended. They have convinced most Americans that if it's a different opinion than what comes out of their mouth, it's wrong and that person is some word that ends in ism or ist.

So i kinda disagree with term limits to the extent most want them. Congressional representative is not a job I want continues turnover and it takes a while to really learn the job. If we had term limits I would like it to be 16 years.

They don't really need term limits. They need age limits. Similar to mandatory retirement.
When normal people hit 75-80, we're discussing taking the keys away from them and whether or not to put them in a group home so that they can have 24/7 care until they die. We're not discussing whether they should be running congressional committees that govern this country, or whether they should be given the nuclear launch codes.

And these fucks may be smarter and healthier than the average person at their age, but it doesn't mean we can't do better.
