The Random Thought Thread

So when was the last time both the Ravens & Steelers had their starting QBs playing in this rivalry? Now Pickett is looking unlikely to play, we all know how Lamar has never played against Big Ben due to Ben being injured or Lamar being hurt.

With his call ups used up I wonder if the Ravens consider bringing Gordon up to the active roster. He looked solid in the touches he had and seemed to make a play anytime he was called upon to do so. As weird as it seems I think I would rather not lose him as the number 3 RB.

It's wild considering how much shit I talked about him... but I agree right now. I like Keaton Mitchell but I'm not sure I'm willing to burn an IR to return spot on him just yet. From a roster construction standpoint, it seemingly makes more sense to just elevate the one you have in house that's game ready and see where you stand in a few weeks.

2021 Ravens at Steelers where Lamar gift wrapped an INT to Minkah on the opening drive and when TJ Watt singlehandedly destroyed any chance we had to convert that two-point conversion to win the game.

Anyone else concerned with Monken through 4 weeks? Obviously the injuries force him to adjust but this offense feels incredibly unimpressive. The biggest plays always seems to be individual effort rather than scheme (Lamar breaking off a crazy scramble). Offense feels very predictable, especially in the 2nd half of games.

Hopefully he’s holding back early in the year because this ain’t it so far.

I don't know that I'm concerned, but I'm also hoping for a bit more if that makes sense. I do love how he's adjusted so far - I think he's not stuck to something just because it's the game plan. If something isn't working, he's willing to try something else (successful or not is another topic). I do wish we could see things open up a bit more. I know Lamar has missed some deeper chance opportunities but still wish there were more.

I think it's been safe and effective, which isn't a bad thing. I wish we could see a little more explosion.

still think that was on Andrews for slowing down in the route.

I still think it’s a shallow playbook with a lot of experimenting going on, especially with all the injuries we have.

Alright so if Chiefs lose, then Buffalo or Miami whoever wins the AFC East will be our biggest threat to the 1 seed and home field advantage.

Do we still get to complain about injuries, given the QBs we've faced?

Stroud looks legit but we got him in Game 1 when he was still working things out.
Burrow was a shadow of himself. Minshew is a back up and DTR had the triple of being a back up, playing his first ever game and just being terrible.

Now it looks like Kenny Pickett (Yes he can) is out.

Given the last two years yes, and this years too seeing as we’ve lost someone every game and Dobbins.

Taylor Swift rigging games for the NFL is the worst timeline

They gave him more money than Orlando ended up getting , didn't they?

Nice to see them fuck up once in a while, though I wish the Bengals hadn't been the ones to benefit from it.
I’m more worried about the Bengals getting another top 5 pick almost at this point lol

I did not expect them to lose to the Titans, let alone get shutout.
