The Random Thought Thread

Really can't blame coaching for yesterday's ST issues. Tucker just missed the kick, and Agholor literally did the exact opposite of what he's coached to do.
Other than that I was fine with it.
I don't know if you can entirely absolve coaching. A few Philly firemen might have something to say about putting Nelson Agholor on your hands team. Hopefully he was just filling in for Tylan.

I mean its pretty standard to use a depth WR in that spot. I mean you could put Flowers out there instead, but then you can bank on him missing a few weeks after that when he gets blown up on the play.

This post is dedicated to @OURavensFan who always lament about opponents (especially the Bengals) being so lucky with opponent injuries. Let's say there was a team that had faced the following QBs in weeks 1-8:

1: A rookie in his first game
2: A good starter, but coming off a leg injury that clearly affected his play
3: Starter injured, faced a career backup with hardly any wins in his career
4: Starter injured, faced a late-round rookie who is probably one of the worst backups in the league this year
5: Low-end starter, but who was injured earlier the same week
6: Best-before-date-expired starter, who also gets knocked out of the game and replaced by a backup who *definitely* is the worst backup in the league
7: Here's the exception: A good QB on a hot streak (although most purple flockers would refer to him as "ass" or "thrash", so perhaps I should count him as well as "lucky")
8: Starter injured. A 7th year backup who spent most of his career as 3rd stringer

Can you guess which team this is - and would you call them extremely lucky?

I'd say we'll never again see a rash of such crap opposing QBs, so it is too bad the Ravens are just 6-2 after that.

I say we deserve this luck after the bullshit we've been through the last few seasons.

Minshew probably better than Richardson right now, and Burrow really wasn’t that hurt until the final play in our game. But I guess he wasn’t feeling as good as he was against the 49ers. And yea we should be 8-0, at least 7-1. Not great, I’m not happy about the bengals winning these close games with the Seahawks and rams
