It would have probably worked if he had burrowed and gotten pushed like the play design called for. I remain convinced Trevor Lawrence is the reason he did what he did, he saw it work on TV the night before and thought it was bad ass and he could be a hero. Worst case the play gets stopped short.

I mean I agree, best player on the field was Dobbins and dumbass Roman never gave him the ball once

And dumbass Dobbins decided to go to the team with him as the OC. Pretty cool though that we have a satellite team in LA along with the main one in Baltimore.

And if not for a 14 second drive Allen might very well have a Super Bowl trophy. The what if game never ends. Besides Burrow would still be able to point to good playoff performances which, similar to Allen, is how you can get a bit of a pass.
I mean if I’m a RB looking to build my value, I would probably like Roman. It’s if I like winning that I would have problems.
