If we get the Pitt monkey off our back then that will show this team has totally matured and it's our year. Because they've been worse than us for a long time and keep beating us because we were just immature and undisciplined

Doesn't have anything to do with being "immature and undisciplined". lol It's been an intense rivalry for over 20 years and it never really matters which team is "better", either team could win, and too often it has been Pitt. I used to say they could field 53 guys from the Iron City Brewery and still give us hell. Just the way it is.

What a vapid take. Sure it's a rivalry. Sure sometimes goofy stuff happens in division games. But it's unambiguous we've played some of our absolute worst ball against them. Full of turnovers, penalties, horrible RZ efficiency, and straight up choking in the 4th quarter multiple times. Also they have been far more physical than us. And we llayed like shit against a seriously low level of talent. They haven't had even a reasonable QB in years. And this is something like 10 games now.

Playing down to your competition is immature. Losing in the trenches by being weak is immature. Blowing leads is inmature. Turnovers and penalties are undisciplined.

Tomlin always has that team up and ready for us. Same can't be said for us since the Flacco era.

Dude. That hurt so bad because it was true. Crazy to have your arch rival say that. They're the epitome of a gritty team. And until the last month we've been a finesse team that if fought with grit, crumbles.

I see something different in Lamar. I think he's taking this team to the next level

Steelers definitely get in our heads. We would’ve waxed them last year had we not dropped SEVEN passes. There’s a lot of panic when we face the Steelers and chiefs, both from players and coaches.

To me, the "I see something different in Lamar" started last season. Multiple occasions we've heard that he's been more vocal ever since got that contract. Even after the Cowboys win, he was in no mood to celebrate. Humphrey had to be checked for that.

Man signed that contract and is still hungry to succeed and win a SuperBowl. Already looks like a huge steal.
