The stars are aligning for us...
It’s a shame our starting safety decided to suck this year. Defense would have been lock down if Ham was still playing that slot role and Marlo and Wiggins were outside full time
Joseph and McKinney both had really good seasons too. I’d imagine that was a tough vote.Hamilton not making 1st team all pro despite his season is a travesty though.
why would an injury give them cap relief?Seems like Watson may miss all of 2025. Annoyingly that may give the Browns some cap relief (44.3m to be exact). That actually might be annoyingly helpful for them.
Almost sounds like a fake... this was the only way except a lawsuit that the Browns can get out of the cap hit (due to the insurance) and Happy Endings doesn't even have to play to get fully paid. And neither side has to be embarrased by his on-field performace.Seems like Watson may miss all of 2025. Annoyingly that may give the Browns some cap relief (44.3m to be exact). They have insurance on his contract which strangely enogh can be used to reduce the cap hit. I saw this pretty recently, had no idea that it worked that waywhy would an injury give them cap relief?
30 votes compared to 18 votes lol. Remember last year when they said Allen should have won but he got the 5th most votes lol.

See e.g. here https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/fo...eshaun-watson-cannot-play-in-2025/ar-AA1x3tKx
He's a hybrid. Played nearly half the season effectively as a slot corner/safety hybrid. That plus lack of turnovers will be used against him.Hamilton not making 1st team all pro despite his season is a travesty though.
Because they took insurance out against his contract so technically they aren’t paying it.why would an injury give them cap relief?
I'm aware of that and knew about the insurance as I recently saw an article on it.Because they took insurance out against his contract so technically they aren’t paying it.
I’m sure the insurance company will be up his ass, hopefully literally, wanting to check every aspect of that injury before paying out 44m.Almost sounds like a fake... this was the only way except a lawsuit that the Browns can get out of the cap hit (due to the insurance) and Happy Endings doesn't even have to play to get fully paid. That said, I don't really think they faked it, but it is almost too good to be true
