I don't think what they are trying to do applies to injuries. The language is "...due to default..." - I think it's mostly player's conduct stuff. By current norms, teams are able to void guarantees in the season "default" occurred but bungles want the ability to void guarantees in all future contract years, too.

If they want to do it, they'd have to go through league wide negotiations with the NFLPA, I reckon. Otherwise, do your fucking work and draft the low risk guys and pray.

So from what I've read, a bunch of other teams use the language that the bungles want to insert into Stewart's contract, but those other teams also give more money up front to compensate and the bungles are being cheap and refusing to give him more money up front

Just wanted to drop by to say that I've been pondering retiring from the NFL and I've decided that it is what I'll do ^_^
I mostly joined purpleflock place for the game threads and that definitely made my fandom a lot more fun over the last few years, so I wanted to say thanks to all of you for the interactions over this time! #cheese

I've become more and more annoyed with a number of smaller things about the NFL that currently sums up sufficiently that I should find something else to do with my spare time. I also feel a lot less at home with the De Costa Ravens than I did with the Newsome Ravens in terms of roster building, drafting and cap management so there's that too.

Who knows, I might get a Ravens craving once the season rolls around and unretire as a fan (gamepass will probably try to lure me back with some discounts...), but doesn't seem likely with the way the league has changed over the last few years.

Have fun the upcoming season and go Ravens!

I just dont see how bills can beat us other than us beating ourselves. All this hype about bills defense, i havent seen it!!!!
