Oweh is a good player but Orr has either massively regressed as a DC or he was DC in name only and Pees was coaching and calling plays last season. In either case Orr is doing such a poor job that he needs to be fired

Orr didn't promote himself it was another bad decision made by Harbaugh and Co. to give him a job he wasn't qualified for.
1 of many questionable coordinator hires by our lovely coach. He is the one that needs to go.
Defense player better against the rams. I'm not saying Orr doesn't have his issues or flaws but the coaching staff has faith in him. If he could turn it around last year then I think he can do the same again this year

Wow... yeah it's not a good look if we are bringing in guys to help him and he's calling a current Head Coach. Just make Pees or Pagano the DC at this point.
Even the way the defense played against the bills in playoffs wasnt bad. They gave up some yards here and there but the defense never allowed the game to get away.. just couldn't get any turnovers
Still got to call the plays.

I'm still shockingly high on Orr. I think he's been dealt some tough hands early on for two seasons straight but if he turns it around again it will just prove adaptability as a strength. We have no pass rush. Zero, zilch, nada. If the ravens' d can be average that's a good job by the DC.
Monken otoh, I am very worried about. The goal line and 4th down play calling is make or break football and he's been gawdawful. Every time I see Henry not even on the field for those situations I know they will fail.

If you listen to the nterview it didn't seem like Zach Orr was calling Mike MacDonald for help but that they generally are friends. He did mention that they talked about football but hey I they coaches why wouldn't they talk about football at some point. Harbaugh probably still gives Cam Cameron a call at times and many other coaches they have worked with especially Andy Reid

With margins so thin in the NFL, you can’t have what many view as a top 10 defensive roster and be the worst defense in the league for 11 weeks last year and 6 weeks already this year. I get hiccups and a bad stretch, but 2/3 of the year last year and already 1/3 of the year this year has been absolutely terrible.
I can understand last year and look away. A lot of defensive staff left, it was Orr’s first year, and communication issues caused some of the issues. What I can’t stand for is how is this not fixed in an entire offseason.
Dean Pees is a mastermind who rid Orr of his free will and is pulling the strings like a puppet master and I will not hear otherwise.
