Militant X 1
Hall of Famer
I really NEED to see THIS CAT (in the red jacket) show up tonight and take control and take over this game offensively (with his crew) from start to finish...to get that "W" tonight and to put DEM BUMS (squeelers) on ice.
This is going to be a big time game tonight.
Let’s show the word what this rivalry means
You may here me tonighti kind of feel good about it either way at this point - im kinda relaxed - my hope is that the refs dont get involved and ruin this for me (i hate it when i feel like we've been jobbed by the refs) because that will get my blood boiling again

not to quote myself, but this game certainly did show the world what this rivalry means, if it hadn't already. This is going to be a big time game tonight.

nope, I'm totally optimistic.Am I the only person here who is actually still optimistic for the future? The majority(if not the entirety) of our needs are on the offensive side of the ball.
Don't get me wrong. This loss sucks major ass. But I think this week proved that we really aren't too far away from being a contending team again. I mean.
1. We found ourselves a damn good running back. Thanks Seahawks! Alex Collins looks like he's explosive AND violent and is about to go for an 1000 yard season despite being added to the team as a practice squad member. Give the fucker a full season and he'd go for at least 1200 yards.
2. Greg Roman has really done wonders for the team. Particularly the running game. The offensive line is makeshift, yet is still solid. Imagine Collins rushing behind a line with Yanda on it full time. Seriously, if we add an actual LG this offseason, we legit have an elite oline. Stanley-Billy Price-Jensen-Yanda-Howard suddenly turns into one of the best lines in the game. THIS should be a priority this draft. Get us a damn offensive guard. I know we're playing at a solid level, but an upgrade here would go a long way for the offense.
3. Our other major need is WR. Next season we will have a damn good committee at WR. Collins is an established feature back at this point imho. Dixon is another violent runner and a nice compliment to Collins as well as a threat in the receiving game. Woodhead is the perfect change of pace guy. We need to acquire multiple WRs and probably a TE(I'd resign Watson to let the TE develop). Which is.... Insanely doable. The WR class in FA is lush with talent, and so is the draft class. Getting one from each is not out of the possibility. I'd still be in significant favor of getting Allen Robinson while drafting a guy at some point.
I keep saying it.. Not too worried for the future. We can hang with good teams, we're a lot better than we were last season imo. I think Ozzie has the team moving in the right direction.
Until further notice:
1. Our secondary without Jimmy is useless on the road against decent QBs
2. AB is Jimmy Smith's bitch
3. Season's over because I don't know if our offense can continue being this dope
I can't. That was absurd....if it wasn't for our offense having its best performance, we would've gotten blown out (shades of 2014). Before his injury, Chris Moore seems to really take advantage of his opportunities. I'm liking what I'm seeing from him.and yet the steelers defence might be the best defence we face until the playoffs... offence has put 2 games in a row together now with maclin hardly involved - there's no excuses now
ravens defence cant get worse than that - and i was looking back at the snap counts - does anyone else remember a game where the defence played 89 snaps?

He does a good job at covering him but honestly AB cant be covered! jimmy cant be on an island with AB.To back up my poing of AB being Jimmy Smith's bitch, I remember seeing a stat showing his stat against Jimmy. Luckily, I was able to find it. Enjoy folks:
Antonio Brown vs Jimmy Smith
10/1/17 - 3 REC, 34 YDS, 0 TD
11/6/16 - 6 REC, 62 YDS, 0 TD
12/27/15 - 7 REC, 61 YDS, 0 TD, 1 INT
10/1/15 - 5 REC, 42, YDS, 0 TD
9/11/14 - 7 REC, 90 YDS, 0 TD
11/28/13 - 5 REC, 58 YDS, 0 TD
10/20/13 - 5 REC, 60 YDS, 0 TD
Lmfao. Take it for what its worth but Project Pat is the #1 rated FB according to PFF
I disagree Jimmy Smith has shut him down pretty much every match up. Now him against AJ Green is a different story. He does a good job at covering him but honestly AB cant be covered! jimmy cant be on an island with AB.
